🕑 Added 2024-05-05 16:55:06 +0000 UTCCass wiped her brow with the back of her hand, feeling her feathers get damp from this. She groaned, shaking her arm to try and get it dry. It unfortunately did not do much.
“Did they, gasp, turn the heat up in here or something? It’s never been, pant, this hot before!”
Cass tried to ignore the heat in the gym as well as the pain in both of her legs, but it was getting harder and harder to do so. Her once long and lanky legs were still very long, but they were anything but lanky. Her thickened appendages strained her poor sweat pants, and her top was unable to completely contain her fleshy abdomen. The bird knew she had gained weight, but attributed much of her clothing fails to faulty dry cleaning or the manufacturers being terrible at sizing. As she exercised though, it was obvious to all around her that those excuses were not the cause of her problems, it was her.
“Maybe, gasp, if I do some stretching, it’ll help ease the pain and maybe help me cool a little. Then I’ll eat those protein bars.”
Cass took a swig of water before going about her business. She slowly tried to lower her arms to the floor, but she found that her back just didn’t want to cooperate. She felt three distinct roadblocks as she leaned forward; her two larger breasts and her bloated belly. Eventually, she took a deep breath and bent down as best she could, getting her hands to brush her knees. She would have gone further down if she could, but she felt a tugging at the rear and instead decided to stay where she was.
After a few moments of stretching, the fur stood back up, winded, but definitely better than she had been on the treadmill. She gasped and wheezed, but she was determined to keep going.
“How, how about I do some jumping jacks? That, whew, should be easy enough to do.”
Cass began the process of doing jumping jacks. She lifted her legs off the ground and raised her arms above her head and clapped.
“One, huff, huff, two! Huff, puff, gasp, three!”
She got to four, but as she did, she felt a very unfamiliar sensation as she did so. She felt a bounce, bounce, jiggle in the front, followed by a wobble wobble in the back. Those feelings were her breasts bouncing up and down, her paunch jiggling in the front, and her donkey booty wobbling in the back. She had plumped up significantly and now her body parts moved almost on their own, and were moving more and more independently as each day passed.
She was still relatively fit (at least compared to most of her other coworkers), but that was fading fast. What she was trying to do today should have been nothing but the easiest of warm ups, but twelve minutes on the treadmill, followed by four minutes of stretching and eight jumping jacks were enough to leave her soaked and ready to collapse. With took a massive swig of her water bottle and found that it was empty. She debated grabbing more from the fountain, but her stomach began to grumble something fierce. She thought about the protein bars in her bag, but quickly decided against that.
She had just done all aerobic exercises, she didn’t want to eat too much protein, for fear of bulking up.
“I’ll, pant, just go home and have something else. Maybe, wheeze, maybe some pasta or something.”
As she toweled off, her thoughts drifted from pasta to something similarly Italian but even more fattening: pizza.
“I, whew, do have that frozen Gluttco pizza in the icebox, maybe I’ll just heat that up. Keep me fueled to handle the rest of my day! Then, maybe, whew, I’ll wake up early to get here tomorrow when they open!”
She stepped out of the gym, unaware that it was the last time she’d see the inside for a long time.
