Nick’s alarm went off at 8:15, it’s usual time when he wasn’t working. He reached over with his arm and tapped on his phone to shut it off. He rolled back over and debated going back to sleep for a bit, but a noise outside prevented that. He was awake now, and he knew he probably wasn’t going to fall back asleep.
“Damn cats.”
Nick grunted as he rose from bed, and stretched his arms out as best as he could in his tight pajama top. Cara had gotten them for him last Christmas (2021) but he had now outgrown them to the point where it was a wonder how he not only got it on but how it had not burst apart during his sleep. Here though, as he stretched, a button on the bottom did pop off, exposing just a bit of his sagging gut.
He made his way slowly to the window, both because he was tired and also because his thighs were beginning to press together. His gait had widened to accommodate the bay window he was now sporting. His pajama pants were pressed snuggly against his bulky thighs and even his rear jostled a bit as he walked as it was not immune to the weight he had gained.
The Nick McMichael that looked out the window of his apartment was not the same Nick McMichael that had started this journey. 130 Christmas’ had done their toll on his form, turning him from 192 pounds of lean muscle to 283 pounds of dough and fat. His prominent double chin deepened as he frowned at the mess in his neighbor’s yard due to the cat, and his wedding ring was looking too small for his increasingly sausage like fingers. He was getting fat and it did not seem out of place to him.
“Ugh, what time is it babe?”
Nick turned back to the bed to see Cara putting the blanket over her head.
“It’s after 8:30. Did you want coffee?”
“Yeah. Don’t tell me you’re going to try and workout after it though, are you”, she asked from under the covers, her voice somewhat muffled.
“Not today. I’m still tired. Tomorrow we can hit the bike or whatever. Maybe even just go for a walk.”
“Walks are definitely preferable to the bike”, she laughed.
“Ha-ha, I get it. Let me go get the coffee’s though, I’ll be right back.
Nick returned a little bit later with the two mugs of piping hot coffee. He made his way to his wife’s side of the bed and put the cup on her nightstand.
“Coffee, made to order.”
“Thanks, sweetheart. You’re better than Dunkin Donuts.”
She pulled the covers back to reveal a very plump face smiling at him, one that also had a full double chin.
“Mhm, Roger brought those in the other day. It took a lot of will power to not eat anything other than the Boston Crème in there”, Nick said as he took a sip of coffee.
“Ew, Boston Crème is gross. Now, had you said jelly or chocolate glazed, then we’d be talking.”
“Is this your little way of saying “get Dunkin from Uber Eats”? Or am I reading you wrong?”
She laughed.
“Nah, I don’t need it. We’ve talked about dieting after the holidays, and I would like to not be more of a blimp than I already am.”
“Well you’re still pretty to me, just with a few extra pounds.” Nick leaned in to kiss her on the forehead.
“Thanks. But I do need to get it under control. 2023 is a thin me!”
She sat up in the bed and grabbed her coffee. Doing so lifted her own pajama shirt to expose her creamy white gut, one that had stretch marks all over it. She didn’t even bother trying to pull it down, she just drank her coffee and chatted with her husband for a bit.
“Alright, I’m going to check some work emails for a bit then shower, you going in first?”
“Yeah, I’ll go first. Be back in a few.”
Nick worked away on his computer until his wife exited the shower with a towel covering her ample form. She dropped it for a second and went about getting dressed. He waddled past her and entered the bathroom, the shower going on almost immediately.
While not as big as Nick, Cara had gained slightly more than he had, going from 110 to 206 pounds. Her curvy but untoned rear wobbled and shook as she grabbed her pair of panties and pulled them up over her chunky thighs and onto her dimpled hips. Her butt wobbled even more as she stepped forward to grab a bra. She put it over her breasts, straining slightly to do so since they were a cup smaller than she actually needed.
Regardless, Cara put on a t-shirt and then a sweater on top of it, one that was red and green. It didn’t have any Christmas markings on it, but it was more festive than before. Lastly, and the most difficult part, Cara grabbed her slacks and tried getting into them. It was a hassle as her thighs were very thick and her hips and rear ride and round. She pulled and pulled but the fabric wouldn’t budge over the middle portion of her thighs.
“You, grr, are, grr, going on”, she yelled as she flopped onto the bed, causing her own paunch to quiver and shake.
Cara pulled on the material tightly, inching it over her thighs more and more. She was convinced that once she did that it would go on and close, since her waist wasn’t as big as the pant size she had. She was at it for quite a bit before finally, she got them over her thighs and onto her hips. She strained some more but like she had guessed, it was easier than her thighs and with little effort, the pants went on. They were still unbuttoned but the hard part was done.
“That, gasp, was, wheeze, too hard.”
It was just then that Nick exited the shower in his boxers and looked at his wife, who’s face was beet red and was covered in sweat.
“You okay? Did you workout and not tell me?”
“Shut up, Nick”, she replied as she went about finishing getting ready.
Nick was confused but said nothing. He watched as his wife turned around and jumped slightly to button the slacks. Her pants were not allowing much in the way of movement to her plumped up cheeks, and, as would be expected, she thrust her hips too hard and a loud tear echoed through the bedroom.
On full display were his wife’s full globes of ass, both happy to be free from their confines as they quaked ever so slightly. She felt the cool air on them and reached around to feel both and immediately gasped. She was completely embarrassed.
Nick, being the good husband, rushed over to her and gave her a big hug. His belly brushed her ass, causing both to shudder pleasurably for a moment. It made her feel better, even as she realized she had gotten too big for her “fat slacks”.
“You’re still beautiful babe. Don’t think about it.”
“Thanks, but you need to help me with this after the holidays. If this keeps up I’ll be too big to fit through your cousins door.”
She groaned further and went to her dresser drawer and pulled out a pair of leggings and began taking her ruined clothes off.
“Let’s just hope this sweater covers up my rear, I don’t need your uncle looking at me.”
