Lexi sat in the corner of the donut shop, dressed in only an undersized bathing suit. She was stuffing donuts into her waiting maw with one hand, while using the other to frantically wave in front of her face, hoping this would cool her off. She was drenched, even if she had on the skimpiest of clothes and nothing else. The donut shop wasn’t even that warm, sitting at a comfortable 68. No, Lexi’s issue was she was now much too fat.
The doe was seated on two stools, both of which were collapsing under the pressure of having to maintain such a massive fur on top of them. Her rear flopped down behind her, that shelf having next to no muscle now as it sagged lower and lower to the floor each day. Lexi had ballooned past the 600 pound mark in a very quick time, which was easy to do with her new role.
Every day she would come in, remove her coat that had been given to her by the donut shop, take her seat in the corner, and proceed to be given all the donuts she could handle. And that meant a lot of donuts. So many that in the time since she had gotten this position, Lexi had put on almost two hundred pounds of pure fat. Her face had completed having not only a second chin, but a third as well, and combined with her blubbery shoulders, was beginning to obscure her neck. Her breasts, barely contained in her bikini top, bulged out and rested comfortably on her gut. A gut, that was constantly filled with donuts, the sugary treats only swelling the mass further and further as she glutted herself more and more each day. Her thighs, those once powerful thighs were now bloated appendages that were spread wide by her globe of a gut, and merged with fat calves into essentially just one long column of fat.
That said nothing of course about her ass, which still was growing at a faster pace than any other part of her body. Those two vast cheeks of flesh surged behind her, completely swallowing up a woefully undersized bikini bottom, her tail sticking out just above the top of her crack to show that she wasn’t completely naked. Whenever she’d walk in, the employees would hear those globes of lard smack together, the echo getting louder and louder with each passing day.
Still, aside from the heat, Lexi was very content. She had a new job, one that was carefree and simple. She did not have to do much, just enjoy good food and occasionally smile at others. Plus, she was getting paid now to eat donuts, which was much better than having to pay for them. She was glad to have this job.
She thought back to when she had been given it. It had been two weeks since she was let go from her job (they had said “cutbacks”, but in reality that was just so she wouldn’t sue, getting stuck in a door frame and then getting fired would not be a great PR move), and it had made her nervous as to what she would be able to do. When she was nervous, she ate, and since she was without a job, her nerves were shot meaning she was at North Pole Donuts almost the entire day. This was not an exaggeration either as she would typically come in around 8 when they opened and leave at 9, making sure to take a few dozen home with her so she’d be able to make it to the next morning, when she’d do it all over again.
This did not go unnoticed by the staff. On the third day of this, the manager, an owl named Steven Rubar, approached her with a very interesting proposition.
“Hi Lexi. How are you?”
“I’m, urp, ok. Just, chomp, enjoying the new Christmas themed donuts you guys have. I LOVE THE GINGERBREAD ONE, he-he”, she said as she stuffed two more into her mouth, giggling the whole time and getting crumbs all over herself and the floor.
“They are quite tasty, aren’t they? Not as good as the brownie batter in my opinion, but still very good”, he replied as he patted his own large gut. “I’m glad you are enjoying them.”
He glanced over at the two other boxes of donuts that were empty, as well as the one that she was making her way through. He knew something was up, just not what.
“So, not that we don’t love having our number one customer here all the time, but what gives? I remember you talking about your job, but you’ve been here these past few days during work hours. You taking vacation?”
Lexi stuffed the last gingerbread donut into her mouth and wiped her hand on her blubbery thigh. She was only wearing an old pair of sweats and a t-shirt from an ex, both of which were almost as undersized as everything else in her wardrobe. Rips were spread throughout the articles of clothing, but Lexi did not mind nor care. She didn’t have much of a choice anyway, as she had pretty much refused to buy new clothes, even as she swelled past triple her old weight.
“Urp, no. I, erp, actually got laid off. Something, burp, bout not fitting the company image. Whatever, belch, that means.”
Lexi grabbed another donut from a fresh dozen and greedily threw it back, crumbs and jelly going everywhere. Steven barely got a fat wing up in time to prevent the food from getting in his face.
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
“S’ok. Place wasn’t that great anyway. I feel like all the numbers and stuff were going over my head anyway, and with these antlers, that’s hard ta do! He-he!”
She tried reaching up to touch one of her antlers, but due to her shirt being too tight, she was unable to. Instead, she just pointed a finger towards the sky before resuming her gluttony.
“Ha, yeah. So, do you have any other leads or anything?”
“Nope. Honestly right now don’t care neither. I don’t think I want to work in that environment again. I’d rather something much more laid back and chill.”
Steven smiled.
“Hmm. Well, I think I might be able to help you then. We have been looking for someone to be the store’s mascot, and, since we’ve established that you kinda look like a smaller version of “The Lounging Reindeer”, this could be an easy gig.”
Lexi paused from her gluttony. It was true, she did look like him, albeit her horns were shorter and her gut didn’t almost touch the floor. But, otherwise, her face resembled his and they even had the same fur. Plus, it was obvious that he enjoyed donuts as much as she did. Maybe this would be a good fit, at least for the time being?
“What would I have to do? I’m not the biggest people person ya know. Wouldn’t wanna have to go around to different places to advertise. Not my scene”, she said, all while continuing to feast.
“No no no. it’s nothing like that. You’d literally just have to be here and let everyone know how good the wares are. Nothing else. Oh, and wear the uniform. Which, since you’re a woman, would have to be changed a little. Plus, all the free donuts you can eat. What do you say?”
“When can I start”, she asked, her three chins deepening as she did so.
