Fairground Fattening Pt3
🕑 Added 2022-10-27 17:52:47 +0000 UTCTamara rubbed the spot where the wristband had been placed, annoyed that it was already very itchy. She had tried to remove it but without scissors or a knife, it was a lost cause. Her whole arm felt off, as if she had been given a flu shot or something. She did not like the feeling at all and felt the need to sit down. Then, without warning, her stomach started growling.
“Ugh, the, ugh, the air in this place is already getting to me. Stomachs all messed up and my arm feels like I slept on it for twenty hours. This is just great”, she muttered to herself as she continued walking through the crowd of people.
She had hoped walking would at least get her arm back to normal, that it could get her mind at ease. She glanced at her cellphone and noted the time, 1:08. She still had almost four hours to kill. Worse, she saw that it now said she had no bars of service. She unlocked her iPhone to check if there was a Wifi spot anywhere nearby, but she predictably had no luck. With no service and no bars, she was at the whim of that asshole Dale.
“This blows.”
Even worse, as she continued walking, the tingling sensation in her arm had moved up her arms and was now affecting her shoulder and neck. She cringed as it seemed like whatever was going on only seemed to intensify, and it was not long before she was rubbing the back of her neck aggressively with her good arm, though she felt that the sensation was spreading there too. In fact, she began to feel the tingling and warmth in her chest, stomach, and even below the waist. Her legs started burning and the tigress found that she had to lean against a booth to rest.
She had no clue what was happening and as she looked at the wristband, she saw that the area around it looked the same. There was no redness, no swelling, no signs of this being an allergic reaction. She contemplated looking for some kind of medical tent when all of a sudden, after the feeling had spread through every part of her body, it just stopped. She blinked repeatedly as she shook her arms and legs, sensing that the tingling sensation had completely vanished. The warmth was gone too and she actually felt a little chill as a breeze blew by.
“What the actual fuck was that? Did I just hallucinate it” she asked herself as she shook her head.
Tamara did not know what was going on but began to rationalize that it was probably just her nerves and anger at her car breaking down that had caused the phenomenon. That, and the fact that she had not slept well the night before had probably combined to make her feel off. She also had not eaten since last night so that couldn’t be helping matters either.
“I doubt this place has a salad bar, considering everyone I’ve past has to weigh at least four hundred pounds”, she though, and, with everything seemingly fine once more, Tamara gave her neck a good cracking and began walking once more, determined to kill time so she could get her car.
She did not get far before a smell began permeating in her snout. It started out as just a tasty morsal, but as it got stronger, it brought the tigress back to her summers with her parents and grilled corn on the cob. As she looked around, she saw a stand on the right that was selling this treat. Her nose had not been wrong. She thought back fondly on those memories, how her dad would always put just the right amount of salt and pepper on each husk as he threw it on the grill, and how good they would taste. She reflexively licked her lips, wetting them as she walked closer to the booth. As she did so, a poodle appeared out of nowhere, a smile on her face as she held out another tray of the food item.
“ Get your grilled corn on the cob here! Only two dollars for this delicious treat! Miss? How about you? Would you like to get your free corn on the cob?”
Tamara blinked for a moment, waking herself from the day dream she had just been experiencing about her days off from school. She momentarily stood motionless, unable to think of what to do next. Suddenly, the synapse in her brain started working again, and she could move.
“Uh, I probably shouldn’t. But thanks anyway.”
She was about to leave when the poodle noticed the wristband. She immediately grabbed two of the items off her tray and wrapped them in tin fool and a portable rubber holder, so the user would not burn their hands.
“Nonsense! You have an all inclusive band, that means this is on the house! Please, take two of these and tell your friends about Shelly and Steve’s Grilling Emporium!”
The plump canine walked back to just outside her booth and began pedaling the treats again. Tamara just held the items, one in each hand, and thought about what to do. They did smell heavenly, and once more she felt herself licking her lips in anticipation.
“I guess they couldn’t hurt, I mean, after all, it’s corn, it’s not like this is a hotdog or something fattening. I can have these while I wait for that jerk.”
Tamara took a bite from the corn on the cob, the butter, salt, pepper and paprika hitting her mouth and tongue all at once. Instinctively, she took an even larger bite and savored these flavors as the food went down her throat. It tasted amazing and she brought the treat back to her mouth once more, wrapping her lips around it and biting down, getting little bits of corn on her mouth and blouse. She didn’t even realize it until after she finished the first one, wiping her mouth and blouse with her hand to get clean.
“Those were fucking amazing! Wow! I can’t believe how good that was, and the paprika was such a smart choice!”
She went back to the second corn on the cob and made short work of that as well, each bite only enhancing her pleasure as she filled her stomach up with the semi-healthy meal. Before long, she had finished both items and was tossing the remainder of the core into the trash and wiping her hands on her pant legs to keep them dry.
“I’ll have to get another one on my way back before seeing Dale, they definitely are the highlight of my day”, she thought to herself as she decided to venture out to the rest of the fair.
