Bulking Up (And Out) Pt1
🕑 Added 2022-05-07 22:07:59 +0000 UTCHello everyone. So this is the start of the project I did with Volkenfox. It's heavily based on an old story from Dimensions, "Fantasy Diary", written by I believe TD. I would post a link but I'm pretty sure Dimensions removed the story when they cleaned out their old board years ago.
It is about a rabbit who has a big ego but may find herself developing an even bigger appetite at her new job if she doesn't watch out.
I don't have a set day each week that I'll be posting (fatherhood takes a lot out of you haha), but I am hoping to have a new page for you each week. I have the first 8 panels prompts done so this should give me time to do a page a week for the next 20 weeks.
I hope you all enjoy it and let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks again.

“Colorado eh? I’ve never been. Isn’t it always cold and shit?”
Cassandra (Cassie) Diaz, a rabbit of 26 years, wiped her forehead down with a dry towel as she prepared to head into the locker room to shower. She had just finished up her last class of the spring session at the Brockton Weight Loss Spa in Austin, Texas. She was one of the best weight loss trainers at the facility and had a very high success rate for her clients. She also had a high rate of hatred from anyone she ever crossed paths with during the weight loss sessions.
The 26 year old power lifter was in phenomenal shape, a chiseled 137 pounds of muscle on her 5-1 frame. Her abs rippled as she wiped more sweat off her body, muscular arms flexing as she did as well. Her sports bra clung to her modest sized pecs, her breasts almost non-existent with the amount of muscle that had occupied her top.
As muscular and defined as she was on top however, her lower half was even more impressive. Countless hours doing squats, leg presses and calf raises had turned her legs and rear into seemingly furry statues of marble, so solid were they that a bat would almost assuredly break if it ever met one of her thighs. She really knew how to train herself.
Having said that, she was not so nice when it came to the other people she trained. She had developed the nickname of “El Terrible”, due to her Hispanic background (Cassie didn’t speak a lick of Spanish). Clients were constantly berated, belittled, and humiliated during their 90 day stay at the resort and Cassie made sure each male and female attendant knew that any slip ups would not be tolerated. If she found a client sneaking in contraband, she forced the person to eat all of its contents in front of the rest of the class, followed by making them exercise until they puked. If a fur didn’t lose weight after a few sessions, she would personally follow them around for the day, hurling even more insults at them and ensuring that they did not stray from her deemed acceptable guidelines. A fur might lose weight while there, but they were miserable doing it by the time the last class in March ended.
That was one of the main reasons why the resort never hired Cassandra on a full-time basis. They could handle her in small stints but keeping her on for 365 days would be disastrous to the morale of not only the guests but the staff as well. She would be there for the winter/spring sessions and then the rest of the time she would do some guest training at other gyms to make money. It paid bills but her rent was always so high that she never saved much.
She had only mentioned it once to a fellow trainer, so she was surprised when one of her last clients, a 32 year old skunk named Kay Frolick, approached her about a new job opportunity in a different state. Even better, Kay was apparently subletting her apartment and the rent was dirt cheap. A discount for helping the skunk fit into her clothes for the expedition in Africa that she would be attending shortly. Still, Cassie had doubts.
“It is a little cold, sure. But think about it, the rent is barely than what you probably make her in a week, and you would have a job lined up already. Plus, I’m sure they’d promote you quickly since your ways work.”
As if to prove a point, the skunk flexed a bicep. It was still soft, but there was muscle underneath it now. She smiled, hoping that stroking the rabbit’s ego would work.
“I get that. But why are you being so nice to me? It’s not like we talked much outside of your sessions.”
“I just figured I could show my support for what you did for me. Also, you always mentioned wanting to do more extreme workouts. Well, the altitude is difficult up there, think of all the challenges it can provide for you in your workouts?”
Cassie knew that altitude change would probably help her get a better pump and even more muscular. She still had some reservations.
“True. And that would be a great way to get these abs even more chiseled. But, of all the people you could help, why me?”
Kay thought about it for a bit, trying to come up with something that would ease the doubts her trainer had in her mind. She knew she HAD to get the rabbit to accept the offer, otherwise all she had planned would end up going up in smoke.
“You helped me lose 27 pounds. I can fit into all the clothes I bought for my expedition. I’m also skinner than the woman I’m sort of competing with, so it’s a win-win. This my way of saying thank you”, she said, lying through her teeth.
Cassie still wasn’t entirely convinced.
“Yeah. But still, even subletting for only a few months, that’s not going to help me too much.”
“Oh no! I guess I didn’t explain it better. I’m gone for over a year! Possibly even two depending on how this goes and what we find! Think of how many people you can help in that time! And you’ll be saving so much money that even if I do come back early, you’ll have had plenty of time to “grow” into the community.”
Kay did not hide the venom in the word “grow” in her speech, but Cassie wasn’t paying attention. She had been thinking about all the people she could order around and show how much better she was than them. Plus she knew that she’d be able to save money like this. Maybe she could even develop a workout program like those Body Beach people. This had to be worth it.
“Ok. I’m in. I’ll just pack up my stuff when the week ends and meet you in Colorado?”
The two furs shook hands.
“Great. I’ll give you all my info before then. I’m sure you’ll love the town. Everyone is friendly and nice.”
Cassie smirked.
“I’m sure. And judging by how much of a butterball you still are, even after I tried working my magic, I’m sure they’re all fat asses too.”
Kay bit her tongue. She wanted to respond and yell at the stuck-up little rabbit, but she knew better. She and many others had done so much planning, so much preparation. She wasn’t going to let these insults stop her, not now.
“Ha-ha. You’re right. Well, I’m sure you want to shower. I’ll talk to you soon!”
With that, the older skunk walked away and back to her changing room to shower herself. She took one last glance over at the toned rabbit and grinned.
“When we’re done with you, that tight little ass of yours won’t fit through even the widest of doors.”
