Pamela tried pedaling on her exercise bike, but her knees kept bumping into her fleshy gut, creating a ripple effect that forced her breasts to bounce up and down as well. She was miserable as she tried riding the bike.
It was the first time in almost ten months that she was trying to work out, though she regretted it almost immediately. For one, the alleged “big girl sized sweats” that she had on were really not meant for a “big girl” such as herself. They barely gut up past her tree trunk sized thighs and the bottoms did not cover her bulging calves at all. Plus, the band of the pants kept sliding under her gut and the strings would rub against her furry flesh something fierce. She found she had to keep pulling the strings out, which was hard to do with so much gut flesh in the way.
Her old running t-shirt from when she ran track in college was nothing more than a sports bra, bunched up underneath her massive breasts. It offered no support however as those boobs threatened to bounce up and smack her in the face whenever she tried speeding things up (which was not often). She was too beat to even want to go fast, so she just lumbered along.
As she wheezed away, Pamela squinted to try and watch the TV. She had been noticing lately that her vision seemed to be getting somewhat blurry. She had always had close to 20/20 vision in both eyes, but the past month she had noticed that the screen at work was a little hard to focus on if she looked at it for long. This required her to take some more breaks, which of course meant her eating more. As a result, the pantheress that sat on this exercise bike was almost 300 pounds.
It was what she also attributed to her current predicament with her clothing. She rationalized that it was due to her squinting and straining to see that she picked up the wrong size, thinking she had grabbed something off the rack that was meant for a smaller creature. In reality, the pants she had purchased would have fit when she first purchased them a few months ago. Now, dozens of pounds later, they had no shot.
It had been a remarkable transformation, one that Pamela was still trying to wrap her head around. She knew she was eating more, she knew she wasn’t exercising, but she still didn’t expect to be growing this large so quickly. Granted, she did not know it was almost 180 pounds, but she knew it was more than 50. And, for a woman who had been fit her whole life, she was actually not taking it that badly.
It helped that everyone she associated with these days was still much heavier than her as that helped ease the blow of needing larger clothes, or being a glutton at lunch. She was always able to tell herself that she was not as bad as the others, that she was skinnier, that she had restraint, that she could stay mobile. As it was though, she was acting just like her coworkers, just to a lesser extent.
Plus, she found herself exhausted when she got home. She was pushing herself to get so much done that she just felt out of breath going up the two flights of stairs to her apartment, sometimes even that was enough to cause her to be soaked in sweat and in need of a shower. This prompted her to forgo any exercise, even when she had the time to do so. With as much sweating as she would be doing by the time she walked in, she figured the exercise bike was not needed.
It was why tonight’s foray into an attempt at exercise had been so random. She had gone about her usual routine, waddling into her apartment after grabbing a snack from the Dunkin around the corner and was about to settle in and grab a bite to eat and watch TV. However, she noted that the bike was covered in dust and something in the back of her mind made her want to work out. The majority of her senses told her that it was a mistake, but that little part of her kept nagging at her, almost begging her to try and exercise. So, she did. And now, only ten minutes later, she regretted it.
The obese pantheress slowly got off the bike, feeling her hips shift properly and one butt cheek rise before she swung her bulky thighs off and used the bike for support. She was drenched and cranky. Her legs ached and she wanted to do nothing but sit down and eat. She did not even care about a shower, that could wait until after she ate to recover from her folly and attempt at working out. She would just have to try again when it was a weekend and not after such a strenuous day at work. She reached around back and rubbed her ass, which was sore from sitting on such a small seat.
“This, pant, is all, gasp, the bike manufacturer’s fault anyway. How, gasp, can they, whew, make a seat so small” she panted out as she waddled over to her cellphone to call the local pizzeria to place an order. She squinted as she tried to make out the numbers on her phone, feeling herself get a bit lightheaded. She shook her head, letting her second chin shake with the rest of her face, and plopped down on the couch. She ordered her usual two large pepperoni pies and when that was done, opened up her reminders on her phone.
“I, I need to see the eye doctor. My eyes shouldn’t hurt this much” she said as she threw the towel over face, hoping to relax for a bit before the food arrived.
She didn’t even bother to take a shower, feeling that would be too much effort on an empty stomach. The neat and tiddy Pamela was definitely outdated, the new obese, lazy and somewhat slobby one taking over. She took a swig of her soda and just hoped the food would come soon, she was starving
