Favorite job for character

Jake

Thanks. I actually had a comic that was supposed to come out many years ago where a secret agent goes to a company as a Secretary and gets huge. Nothing came of It though sadly.

A reporter would aslo be good, going undercover/invastigating a case in a food company or suspicious town and getting fat in the proccess. Could be combined with other jobs like secretary ect.

I do like the secretary as a gainer, a teacher, maybe a lawyer who helps a restauranteur in a case pro Bono is paid off in food, so many possibilities

Secretary is the best job, they are always sitting on a desk and let their ass spread beneath them

Jake

Thanks for the feedback. I kind of did something similar to this with “Rising to the Top”

CEO or a position of power/influence is an interesting concept to play around with. The idea of the gain and changing lifestyle/priorities of the person eventually influencing the company and it's employees. The gains and lifestyle becoming normal by proxy or an intent to spread their new ideals. Using the company/position as a springboard to drive change in the community through a drive to spread their new joy or with devious intent.

Jake

Sounds like an interesting idea

I always had an idea kicking around for a story of a valiant female warrior that was gradually tempted into letting some supernatural creatures do her fighting for her, until she's outgrown her armor and content to let them do their own thing so long as they bring her back food...the gradual corruption and degradation into sloth has always been interesting to me, it's something I really need to sit down and finish.

Yeah, the denial of any changes and the arrogance of believing they themselves would never become victim to the fate of so many they look down on is always fun to read.

Jake

Personally, I like the idea of characters outgrowing those uniforms

I really like jobs like the security guards you've portrayed, it lends itself to settling the characters into becoming lazier as the story goes on.

Jake

That is a common one for sure.

Jake

Very interesting, never actually seen that before. Got my creativity going now ha.

Chef/bartender seems like a really good combo for mutual hedonism
