Lanterns of Liyue! (Amber) (Poll 3+ winner!) (Full set: 100+ images)
🕑 Added 2025-05-27 11:08:46 +0000 UTCAmber adjusted the red ribbon of her summer kimono, the fabric catching the glow of lanterns strung above Liyue Harbor. She turned to the person beside her, her childhood friend, back from a distant commission.
“I still can’t believe you made it all the way to Liyue,” she said, her smile lighting up brighter than the fireworks overhead.
“I wouldn’t miss this for anything,” he replied.
They wandered through the festival together, laughing over sweet rice cakes and trading stories like no time had passed. Under the glow of paper lanterns and the hum of distant music, something unspoken settled between them.
As the night grew late and the streets began to empty, Amber tugged at his sleeve. “Hey... it’s too late to travel back to Mondstadt. I booked a hotel room. Want to share it? Just like old times.”
He looked surprised, then smiled. “Sure. I’d like that.”
The room was quiet, warm, and softly lit by the last glow of the fireworks outside. As they closed the door behind them, the space between them shrank, slow glances, quiet laughter, hands brushing just a moment too long.
No words needed. Just two old hearts finding something new...
