Good ep. Very thought provoking. I like to believe Fuhad has empathy, however being raised in a boring school and being very independent from so young, you have to somewhat think of yourself more to survive. Kids that are raised with many siblings, especially the first or 2nd are usually more empathetic because they have no choice but to consider everyone in their household, whether they want to or not.

Two things: 1) I love the weekly catchup! So many stories we wouldn’t have gotten if not for the catchup! Agree with everyone else saying to add Rem and Ellis 💕 And 2) Just being a fan, obviously not knowing any of them personally, I think Fuhad has plenty of sympathy! Like, acknowledging and recognizing how someone else feels. We’ve seen him do that so many times on the pod alone. That’s different from empathy though, where you’re able to connect emotionally with how someone is feeling, and I think that might be what the guys are saying Fuhad doesn’t have much of (his general “the game is the game” attitude).

If they have the maturity to handle it, he can absolutely tell her he’s gay and she can absolutely love and support him in the brave decision to live his truth. There’s actually no mandatory drama or trauma. If they have the bandwidth and maturity to love each other through it, which only he can know about their relationship, then be honest. She doesn’t need the whole history of him coming to this realization, it’s only the realization that matters. It’s not romantic love. It’s not sexual love. It’s the love of two adults who have been together for four years, two adults who want each other to be happy and authentic. Maybe I’m coming at this as someone older than them, but I would never approach this with an assumption of a horrible blow up and traumatic aftermath.

She might be mad at first but he owes her an explanation and if he’s sincere and earnest, she will come around.
