Cadence, Shining Armour and Raven Inkwell have been left to defend Canterlot against the Diomedes invasion. Cadence tries to rescue as many of the castle staff as possible while Shining shields the castle from the invading horses. Raven is tasked with getting Shining’s parents to safety with the help of an injured Royal Guard – a task threatened by Blueblood’s selfish, destructive actions. And throughout, Queen Podargos, who was already inside the castle when the shield went up, is closing in with her army.
