[Important] Major Subscription Change at End of September
🕑 Added 2024-09-04 14:00:10 +0000 UTCI'm not going to beat around the bush. I never liked this subscription model. If you pay a fixed price for a product, you get a mediocre product, which usually leaves half of the people wanting more and the other half not happy with the price. To not waste everybody's time, I'm going to lay out the changes first, then the rationale later for those who cares.
NOTE: These changes will happen on 9/30/2024, give you plenty of time to adjust your tier and take advantage of current content.

1. Curious Tier will drop to $3, but will only have access to Intro and Lv.100 files, making it more appropriate to its name.
2. Supporter Tier will be $5. Access to Curious Tier files + 4 latest Core Curriculum files.
3. Dependent Tier will stay at $9, Access to Supporter Tier files + 4 latest Elective files.
4. Addiction Tier will be $20 with access to all files and all current perks.
After the subscription change, I will make a high-quality bonus video to everyone who has paid for Addiction Tier since I started this page. Patreon tracks subscription history. You don't need to be an active Addiction Tier member at the end of month to receive this.

Reason for the Change
As you can see, If you were a continued Dependent/Addiction Tier subscriber, there should be minimum changes.
My main motivation is that I genuinely want to create visually and audibly stimulating hypnosis content. So I put in a lot of time into my narrative and editing. A flat fee for 4 videos a month encourages me to just make videos that are "good enough".
I also understand not everyone is into every file I made. Some people are not interested in certain topics. After the subscription change, I'll make files and bundles available for direct purchase. So you can choose which files to get, which potentially could cost less than the subscription.
There are also many people who pays for membership once, download the files, then cancel the membership. I understand the practice and I appreciate the early support. That's why I'm stilling allowing this until the end of September. But as our library grows larger, I just don't think it's fair to my long time supporters. So starting next month, Dependent Tier and below won't have access to all the old files anymore.
Right now this remains a serious hobby for me, but I wouldn't mind making it into a part-time or even full-time job. I think the subscription changes and direct purchase will get me closer to that goal, make it more flexible for future members, and does not seriously impact current members. Ideally, if people are open to the direct purchase model, I will gladly make 10 high-quality videos a month and let everyone decide which ones they want. But right now, I can't realistically charge everyone $25 membership for 10 predetermined videos a month.

It's my goal to make more videos. But like I said, I can't make all the videos for everyone. Subscription model forces everyone to pay for everything I make. If we can go to a direct sale model, you can buy exactly what you want without feeling like you are paying for someone else's content.

Oh I need to add to my comment: However if you’re planing to do this as a part or even full time job and can take the high capacity without neglecting the quality and actually be more in contact with all our little fetishes then this could actually be a very good opportunity to get us even more hooked and make more $. One concrete example is that when you did the vote on what we’d like to see I really wanted “blacked” on of my fav subject, and it didn’t made the cut. However it did got a lot of votes. So if you work full time you could have maybe made all the other ones depending on the votes and have them available for sale. I would have definitely bought a couple 😘

Same, I’m a dependent tier and I already downloaded all the existing files so I should be fine 😜. Personally I’d like to add to your comment that not everyone likes the same stuff and your touching different tones to please everyone. It’s good but at the same time the downside of it is that when you release a video of a série that someone likes less then it’s like passing your turn for that person. Also because of the higher volume you give yourself to produce in the same given time it affects the quality. So I’m not sure how this is going to look like but it should be addressed. Maybe there’s a way to make some premium memberships just for a particular series, maybe with stats you can see which series are more popular and remove some. But if it’s really all even then quality is diluted and therefore I don’t think it’s worth more $. Might even cancel my membership as it’s starting to be repetitive. Or takes too much time for my favorite next episode. (Sorry if I’m being direct and transparent but it’s just to give you an honest opinion of what could be the impact for others to.) .

I have looked at some of the platforms that sell video files and frankly I think charging $15-20, even up to $30 for a single file is outrageous. My plan is to set new video release with the current quality to $3 each, make it comparable to subscriptions even if you buy 4 videos a month. Of course, I may discount files and make premium content from time to time. For commission, just DM me and we'll work something out.

Well, for me it's not a huge change, given that I'm a Dependent tier. However, I would like to know what the price of the files would be, and I would be interested if you could make a video for me based on my own request.
