Hi, thanks for the videos, really interested in this project do you have a parts list - sorry based in UK so need to source some bits. thanks again

Samir Nazir

when is the new video for the holomat being released? thanks

Kevin Coda

I'm not trying to make anyone wait 6months to a year for this whole project. The GUI tutorial and code will come out this weekend and from there you will be able to start building your own HoloMat apps. It will have a plugin structure that allows other developers to start building apps and publishing them for everyone to use. This project is very big and definitely needs to be broken up in to parts. Considering I should have most of the code out in part 3 I think that's pretty good. I apologize it's taking a while as I'm trying to make the code useable by others and not just work on my system. Releasing it as is, won't help anyone. But I promise I'm working hard to get it out as fast as I can

Thanks for sharing the link. Waiting 6 months to a year, especially while subscribed, is not something I'm willing to do either. While there are numerous tutorials available online for YOLO/OpenCV to assist beginners, there's little to no resources for the GUI.

I found a course on advanced computer vision with code. I'm sure this is the next part of the project, so I'm working ahead. I like the Jarvis/AI project, but I'm not trying to wait 6mo-1yr for everything to come out. https://youtu.be/01sAkU_NvOY?si=vcwdOe27OPSaE1pC

Absolutely! You've got a point about tutorial videosβ€”they're really handy. Imagine if we had a resource geared towards people with technical know-how; we could lend a hand to others. Personally, I'd much rather dive into that than sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting for updates on the Holomat/Jarvis project for weeks or even months.

I think video tutorials are essential. Not everybody here is programmer or developer, having video walkthrough is gonna help everybody, regradless of their background.

DeAundre Dyson

I see. Many of us do not need a video tutorial if you provide a GitHub. Are you able to post one now and a video tutorial later for those that need it?

Kevin Coda

Totally understand. I want to keep working to make this valuable for all the subscribers. HoloMat and Jarvis take a lot to develop. I am always working on the next parts of those. They just take a little time. Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it. It helps me know where to take this next

Hey there, I joined your Patreon specifically to support the development of the Holomat and Jarvis. I'll remain a paid subscriber as long as you continue to share updates on these projects (or even post a Github Link). However, I feel that the one-off projects don't contribute much value for me.
