Earlier this month, Jane Doe was released on Zenless Zone Zero and, sure enough, my luck failed me on pulling her with the gacha currency I had. I lost the 50/50 chance... My friend, Magnolia, had much better luck than me and told me she wondered if she was just blessed cause she's drawn Hoyo girls before. Now... I'm not superstitious or anything, and I had already wanted to draw the pretty rat lady... Perhaps maybe this will improve my chances with the gacha gods. 🙏
While drawing this, I had a thought I may try out sometime. Every so often I'll say I wanna draw "___" character from "___" thing and I realize I never do. So, occasionally, I want to try out a sort of "Dealer's Choice" sort of poll. (It will not replace the regular fan polls) But this would be a select few characters I've wanted to draw for forever but you get to vote and choose which one it will be.

Loved this girl the second her trailer dropped. Glad I got her the day she came out. Nice role reversal art you did

thanks :D

Oh sh*t! A rat! Everyone's darling Doe looks great in your style, Shio. I love how you do tape-cleave gags; something about how you make them look is just *chef's kiss*. Another favorite to add to the collection.

Yeah I dig the idea of a “classic characters” poll, but I can see how “classic” would vary for different people mhmm. Honestly, I’m down for whatever you want to draw, but I’ve been especially enjoying your OC stuff lately 🙏

thanks! :D I figure that would allow me to sort of use poll themes I'd otherwise find too vague as well, such as the whole idea of "classic characters only," for example.

i didn't originally intend to draw her jacket, but i'm glad i did. it looks much nicer with it, i think

Really nailed her outfit in this one! Love the tail detail with the vibrator alt 😏

My rat queen! LOVE the call back to Jane’s release trailer and her facial expressions are top notch! And how cheeky of you to tie her tail in a knot and tape vibes to the tip lmao 😌👌 I really like the sound of a “Dealer’s Choice” poll every now and again. I’m interested to see what sort of characters you’ve been wanting to draw 🤔
