All the people mentioned in the Horse and the Infant, like Diomedes, Agamemnon, Little Ajax, etc are all different Greek Kings that were fighting for the Greek side in the Trojan War. They’re not actually a part of Odysseus’s crew though. They were just fellow kings who all went their separate ways once the war was over to their respective kingdoms.

I believe, if my memory serves me right, circe had a relationship with -drum roll- HERMES. Which, to me, makes the 'hermes gave it to you didn't he' so much funnier 😂 it also could explain how hermes talks about her
