“It’s like a dream,” Kimmy said, nestling her head against his shoulder.
In that moment, nestled in the dim light of their shared space, everything felt right. In place. I like the idea of this too, maybe not exactly the scenario you're describing but some situation or another. Back in the day I thought that this series would span several more years than it has and that Josh and Kimmy’s Odyssey would take a few different turns later on. I love the idea of KT revisiting this story down the line, Kimmy is too fascinating of a character to me to lose this quickly. Frankly, I feel like there's at least 4 more books worth of Josh and Kimmy material but I'll just have to fantasize haha

Kimmy told Josh she has "proof" Colleen is his daughter, and offered to show him some kind of paperwork. We assume its a DNA test but it wasn't confirmed. Josh saw her lighter hair and his mother's eyes, and took that as proof the child is his. He never actually looked at what Kimmy offered to show him. I'm still like 98% sure the child really is his, but I'm now leaving at least a little room to question it. Does Kimmy have enough expertise and evil intent to fake the proof somehow. Or did just completely bluff that she actually has proof? I still think that's highly unlikely, but given the revelations of the last couple of chapters, I can no longer completely rule it out. But my sense is were not going to learn more one way or the other on that before the end of the story. It'll probably one of those items left up for debate.

While I would like to see KT finish up some of her other stories I would like to see DitW series revisited... Later, years have passed and there is another child and everything looks normal. The kids are much older Colleen is off to university. Kimmy is getting bored. All the years of Josh's conditioning has made him open to scratching the itch again. Hyun? not sure if that still a going thing. Kimmy can be feeling her age too. Colleen will be an adult too.

I have loved Kimmy from the beginning and never doubted her love for Josh. I have preferred to see Kimmy as a young woman learning about herself and to lean in to her power as a woman and a lawyer. Things got ahead of her for a while but she managed to redirect at some cost to her, Josh and Hyun. But all seem to be getting most of what they need. We will have to see. I must say however that I fear we will never know what really transpired at Tiffiney’s party. Was Josh drunk enough to ask Devlin to take Kimmy, or was Amy behind the whole thing?

So, the one thing I was really hoping to find out before the end is, did Kimmy ever cheat before Devlin? I was kinda hoping it was Steve. That guy was always really smitten with her. She had to have gotten practice from somewhere before going up against someone like Devlin.

I don't think it's hard to believe, I just think for some of us it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't appear she's learned anything from the events of the past 2 books. In particular, how she got herself into trouble before, both with Josh and with others. Next time, she might not be as fortunate.

I don't know what is so hard to believe about Kimmy's behavior. This has been the trend the whole time. Kimmy starts out as a mousy teenager.
