Kicking Off Our Lean Loop! Help Us Shape the Next Title
🕑 Added 2025-08-07 14:47:16 +0000 UTCAlright, team, here we go—this is the first pass through our new development loop, and you're at the top of the pyramid. If you’re in this tier, you’re not just supporting us, you’re helping shape the identity of the game.
Today’s Problem: We Need a Title
Project Powerslave is our working name, but it won’t fly long term. Here's why:
It risks being flagged by DMCA agents
It could violate Patreon’s ToS
It's similar to other genre projects like Rogue-Like
What We Need From You:
Help us refine the framework that the next tier will brainstorm within. Think of this as defining the “rules” of what a title should and shouldn’t be.
Here’s what we already know to avoid:
Obvious trigger words: Slave, Rpe*, Family, Institute, X
Copyrighted or trademarked terms
Titles too close to popular adult games or existing franchises
Questions to Consider:
What kinds of words or themes grab attention without crossing lines?
How much ambiguity is too much?
Should the title hint at gameplay, theme, or character?
Are there visual or tonal associations we should keep in mind?
Comment below with your thoughts, additional red flags, and any examples of titles that struck the right balance in other games. This will shape what the $10 tier does next, it's your time to help steer the ship!
Let’s get this thing moving.
Here is the public Trello board so you can track our progress!
