Glad you liked it. I've always enjoyed revisiting it. It has a lot of the zombie/virus film tropes I love, but it handles it all in a clever way. I feel the actors really elevate the material. I loved the deputy too, he's the MVP for sure.

i haven't seen this movie since it first came out. actually really enjoyed the rewatch. it's a dark ending, but it holds up, for me. in the end, our final protagonists did everything they could to survive and ending up being the reason the military needs to also nuke a much larger city since they have to be absolutely positive the infection can't take hold in a population.
