The Naked Desert post We love outdoor showers! from patreon

We love outdoor showers!

How anyone can one pass up an opportunity to take a naked picture in an outdoor shower is beyond us.(BTW, we are headed up to a cabin in north eastern Arizona this morning--will be on and off the grid, but we will be in 70 degree temps vs 110.....)

The Naked Desert post Secret Garden, Part 1: Elle Solo from patreon

Secret Garden, Part 1: Elle Solo

If you've been following along on our Instagram Stories and in our Patreon feed a bit, you'll know that we have gained accessed to a gorgeous backyard of a clothing optional Air BnB. A client asked us to shoot her there. We were introduced to the wonderfully kind owners. And, they invited us to book more shoots.Well, we went back a week later three nude models, and after our Lake Powell trip last week we returned on Monday to shoot a very...

The Naked Desert post We're just going to leave this here. from patreon

We're just going to leave this here.

Just got back from several days of shooting and hiking in the Lake Powell area, then had a model shoot the very next morning. August is shaping up to be a great month for our photography.....

The Naked Desert post Back to our lifeforce! from patreon

Back to our lifeforce!

As far as The Naked Desert goes the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert National Park is pretty much where we gather our life energy from. We love this place. We love shooting here. And, I think the results speak for themselves.Although, Death Valley, White Sands, and the Bisti Badlands are on the list next, you can't beat this location just 3 hours north.

The Naked Desert post Too cool.... from patreon

Too cool....

Just a quick, small set from Monday's shoot at a clothing optional Air Bnb. It was a beautiful house with a gorgeous back yard. We found out about it while doing client work, met the owners, and now for a small fee have photographer's access. It is a perfect option for when trekking an hour out into the desert just will not work.....Lot's of content coming from this one! We are elated :)

The Naked Desert post Not bad for a Monday! from patreon

Not bad for a Monday!

So this just happened! We thought we'd share it ASAP with our beloved Patrons. We just spent this glorious Monday morning shooting several nude models at a clothing optional Air BnB....Oh, I can't wait to start editing these files!

The Naked Desert post Aphrodite's Temple from patreon

Aphrodite's Temple

Sometimes it's best to let curiosity get the better of you. On one of our hikes we notice some interesting hoodoos a little ways off trail. And, lucky us, we discovered a spot that we will affectionately refer to as Aphrodite's Temple. We shall return!

The Naked Desert post Hades II from patreon

Hades II

Hades (Instagram: @lookits.hades) was one of the first models to shoot for us, almost exactly a year ago! It was a great shoot, and we created a ton of great content, and we are forever grateful! She has really blown up this past year, working hard, and getting her name out. Yesterday, in fact, she shot for Playboy! Congrats, girl! Doing big things!

The Naked Desert post Happy 4th of July! from patreon

Happy 4th of July!

Hopefully you are all finding a way to stay safe and sane during these times. Arizona has shut down its bars, gyms, and delayed the start of school by 2 weeks. We don't have an Independence Day themed image to post. (Actually, we never really do themed posts.) In fact we just returned from Tahoma, CA, located on the western edge of Lake Tahoe. It was a long drive to get there, but that area and our Air BnB was certainly worth the effort. We ar...

The Naked Desert post Mogollon Rim from patreon

Mogollon Rim

About 2hrs from and 7000' ft higher than Phoenix is the gorgeous Mogollon Rim--a place more closely related to Colorado than the Grand Canyon. This special place provides a respite from the summer heat--one of the best kept secrets of our state. So while the compositions we had planned at the Petrified Forest National Park did not work out, we made a break for this beautiful creek on our way home, and are more than happy with the results!Let ...

The Naked Desert post Sun Ray! from patreon

Sun Ray!

One of the reasons we love Arizona so much is the diversity in environments and landscapes. And, while we definitely prefer the stark and desolate beauty of the desert, we can easily switch to something green and lush--a place that looks more akin to the Pacific Northwest versus the Sonoran Desert. Case in point: this lovely creek about 90mins, but a world away from the Petrified Forest National Park.Elle was getting ready for some shots when I n...

The Naked Desert post Christy from patreon

Christy

Christy (IG: @spilled_milk___) will always have a special place in our hearts. She was one of the very first models to shoot for us just as we were starting out as The Naked Desert Photography team. (It was nearly a year ago, July 2019.) We are so very grateful as she was our entree to the local photography and model community. And, as you can see, the rest is history.Christy is one of the hardest working models out there. She and her boyfriend, ...

Update!

As our Patreon grows and more supporters are dropping in, we are going back to tag all of our posts so that our content, models, and locations are more easily searchable. We realize that Patreon is tad clunky to search without them. We think it'll great improvement (which we should have been doing all along ;).

The Naked Desert post Kelsea from Ohio from patreon

Kelsea from Ohio

Kelsea (IG: kfrav) drove to Prescott, AZ, with another "nude-in-nature" photographer, James Ellingen (IG: @jamesellingen) back in March. They planned to do a multi -month roadtrip/photography tour initially, but then the corona virus came. Instead they decided to stay in Prescott. Around April some mutual acquaintances put us in contact with one another, and luckily for us, we were able to connect with Kelsea for our first shoot since Mar...

The Naked Desert post Oh! from patreon

Oh!

It feels so good to be shooting again! Esp when there a multiple naked models in front of the lens.

The Naked Desert post some more of Rebekah from patreon

some more of Rebekah

Y'know we do take requests. Had a couple Patron ask if we could post more of Rebekah. We are digging into the archives since we only shot with her once. But, we do like and promote this kind of interaction. So, do let us know if there's a model or a set you'd like to see more of.We are actually thinking of starting a new tier whereby you can request/purchase "customized" sets. We actually have a shoot planned for this afternoo...

The Naked Desert post Excessive Heat Warning from patreon

Excessive Heat Warning

Its been 110 degrees or hotter here over the last three days--making desert photoshoots somewhat dangerous. But, well, we found a cool cave with great light and protection from the sun. And, well, we started going out a 1am to try to take pictures with the Milky Way. We hope you enjoy the effort :)

The Naked Desert post MDW from patreon

MDW

...is the official kick-off for the summer season, right?Cheers to Dennielle! (@elle.ohhh.elle on IG, top .8% on OnlyFans)

The Naked Desert post Location Scouting from patreon

Location Scouting

Well, we are open to shooting clients and models now. It's exciting to get out again, but also frustrating dealing with inevitable flakiness. We had a model booked for Sunday, but then "something came up" a few hours before. <shrug>We ended up using our free time for some location scouting, found a cool cave with some interesting light, and Elle was able to come up with some great shapes and lines. We will work more here in the future...

The Naked Desert post Genesis from patreon

Genesis

Genesis (Instagram: @gelisavaaa) is well-known nude, self-portrait artist and quite a beautiful model. We were so excited to finally connect and work with her. This shoot was her first time shooting outdoors. We were honored that she chose and trusted us enough to get out of her comfort zone. We spent part of the shoot in the last of the fall cotton fields, then quickly made our way over to Saguaro National Park for sunset. We have been wanting t...

The Naked Desert post Sound of Silence.... from patreon

Sound of Silence....

So very sorry! We have been a bit more silent and inactive than usual here on our Patreon site. Quite honestly, life got pretty busy these past two weeks, we haven't shot much, I haven't edited much, and frankly I just was not in front of the computer much. But, we haven't forgotten about you. Things have cleared up. We'll be catching up on our posts soon, and we are actually starting to book shoots again albeit slowly and careful...

The Naked Desert post Creek Hangs! from patreon

Creek Hangs!

It's getting hot here in Arizona--about a week straight of 100+ degree temperatures. Luckily for us we know some spots to cool off while also maintaining social distance. In fact we are farther away from much less people here than we are in our own neighborhood. Many states are gradually opening up again. We hope to regain our photography momentum again. Can't wait to start creating again :)

The Naked Desert post Denielle (set 1) from patreon

Denielle (set 1)

Denielle was the last model we got to work with prior to the pandemic shut down. She is a superstar. Be sure to follow her on Instagram: @elle.ohhh.elle.BTW we have a couple more sets of her coming later for our Senita & Sonoran Tiers

The Naked Desert post The Little Painted Desert from patreon

The Little Painted Desert

The Little Painted Desert is an abandoned county park near Winslow, AZ. (Yep, that Winslow of RT66 and The Eagles fame ;). Last October, we got together with Jaime (@fine_lines__ on Instagram) to try to put together an artistic set. I tell you it is an absolutely stunning barren, badland landscape that pops with fiery color at sunset. We have been longing to return with a couple more models and grand vision ever since! Hopefully toward the end of...

The Naked Desert post Face Time Photo Shoot with Thomas Holm from patreon

Face Time Photo Shoot with Thomas Holm

If you don't know who Thomas Holm is, you should definitely check out his work (Instagram: @thomasholmphoto, https://www.patreon.com/thomasholmphoto & https://store.commandoart.com/). Not only is his fine art nude photography absolutely world class, his level of skill and execution is aspirational for us, The Naked Desert. He lives in Denmark, but we were hoping to attend his 5-day workshop as part the Palm Springs Photography Festival origin...

The Naked Desert post Waiting for the sun..... from patreon

Waiting for the sun.....

Been taking a free MOMA online course on the philosophy of photography during this pandemic lock down. And, seemingly the "art" of photography has a lot to do with intent. We ask ourselves: is a picture of the moon's surface artistic if the intent of the astronaut was to just document it? Well, what if the intent is to capture "beauty" within a seeming inhospitable, barren place? Anyway, we are sure getting antsy in wanting to...

The Naked Desert post Week 4 of "Shelter in Place" from patreon

Week 4 of "Shelter in Place"

Definitely Arizona is not getting hit as hard as other places. And, thankful that we are surrounded by wide open desert where it is easy to maintain social distancing guidelines...naked. You know how an object in motion tends to stay in motion, and an object at rest tends to stay at rest? A couple weeks ago we were worried about losing our photography business's momentum, last week were antsy to get out of the house and produce and create. Th...

The Naked Desert post Thank you! from patreon

Thank you!

We are going into our fourth month here on Patreon! Just want to take the time to say thank you to our loyal supporters and fans. Yes, we are on a little break from shooting models and clients. And, to tell you the truth transitioning to WFH as well as home schooling our daughters during quarantine has been rather disruptive to our productivity, life rhythm, and work flow. But, we'll be shooting more content soon. Just you wait.....
