Nigel Abraham Concept
An old codger from the UK, not much is known about the community college professor. 'Out of place' wouldn't really begin to explain his current situation. Nigel has a doctorate in Philosophy, Biology, Psychology, and a litany of others he keeps in freshly pressed suit pocket. A bit rough around the edges, Nigel also seems to have a real love for his work and teaching others. Though tardiness and truancy is something he has little pati...
Devon Martin Concept

A loyal and faithful friend, Devon has just gotten to know Neal, his new partner, over the past couple months and sees a lot of his younger self in him. Although not much ever happens in New Salem, Devon has had his share of run ins with danger and isn't one to back down f...
Meredith Anders Concept
Meredith came to New Salem to escape her abusive boyfriend in New York. Quick witted and always down for a party, Meredith and Sue have become close in the past year working together and seem to have a certain connection that keeps them a part of each other's lives.

Diane Lau Concept
Sue's loving mother. A first generation immigrant from China, Diane sought to build a family in America with her husband. Tireless and protective, Diane only wishes the best for her children and strives to be the best mother she can be, especially when a family such as the Lau's has gone through so much strife.
Neal Andrews Concept
Neal isn't new to police work but is a fairly new addition to the New Salem Police department. Having worked in Brooklyn for 8 years, Neal was hoping to find quieter work in the small fishing town for himself and for his wife and daughter. An intelligent and hard working guy, Neal is trying his best to build a new life while battling old demons from the past and new ones in the present.
