This will be the last of the photos, I'm afraid! Just one more day and I'll be flying back to Scotland. Pixie and I had a really great time out here in Portugal, and we both want to say thank you to all the amazing Patrons who have stuck with us throughout it all, and who shared in this little adventure of ours!Seriously, you all rock!Now if you'll excuse me, it's time to put away the phone. Picnic time with the family! Good food, good company and good weather! What more can anyone ask for? This is actually at a lovely little place right next to a huge dam. After we've eaten we'll be going on a looooong walk around the lake. It's really gorgeous here, though, so I don't mind!Pixie says she doesn't mind either, but since she'll be riding on my shoulder as always I don't think that counts.

All is forgiven! I let her ride on the giant turtle when nobody was looking and she thought it was the "most funnest thing, like, ever!" so between that and the ice cream I promised her I probably won't be getting slapped in my sleep (probably).The turtles all seemed fascinated by her. They started gathering around her and we had to leave quickly before the other people noticed.

Pixie got over her monkey-carving fright pretty quickly, actually... but she's not talking to me now. She saw these cute little guys and for the past five minutes she's been telling them - in great detail - how much of a "poopy-head" I am.Can pixies talk to animals? Because if so, annoying her in a zoo may have been a bad idea. If I don't make it back, tell my story!

Of course, the first thing I had to do on arriving in Portugal was to visit the beach. And the second thing I had to do was to buy an ice cream. Pixie's so small that she thinks every ice cream is "for two", and I didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise.They didn't have sprinkles, but she seemed to really enjoy the chocolate chips.
