We have some amazing artwork coming up here soon! The Yenya are almost finished and should be up around Thursday!
First Draft is a Go!
It's a brand new month and we are FINALLY working on the first draft of our first main character, The Neophyte. I am so happy to start working on this story. The Neophyte was my first character idea for the Verdant concept and I've been dying to play with her for months now!The above is a sample piece for your enjoyment! The final product may look different from this. But you've all been so patient that I thought it was about time you...
Lore Drop - The Geni II
In each of the nations of Cantoria there are Geni. They come in every size and shape imaginable. Some tower as tall as mountains and their eyes can bee see behind the clouds. Others are small as an insect and cast silhouettes made of prismatic light. Some live alone and guard their territories with malice, while others live in little colonies and are as unobtrusive as possible. Each of the Geni are unique, and each culture views them in a differe...

Worldbuilding Drop - The Five Houses
Though the Queen is sole ruling monarch of the nation of Verdant, they do not oversee all facets of Verdant life by themselves. The Five Houses stand both as pillars of Verdant's society and as members of the Queens Council, keeping her informed of the country and its doings. Their function is to ensure that the nation continues running smoothly, allowing for their way of life to progress in much the same way it has for centuries now. They an...

Gabelins - Race Artwork Overview
Race Profile – GabelinsA nomadic people by choice, the Gabelins find ways to live apart from the walled, organized cities of Verdant. Sticking together in small clans, they move along trade routes during peak seasons and retire to an unknown location during the sandstorms. Though they bare some resemblance to orcs, if anyone were to inquire as to a distant shared lineage, they would be deeply insulted. They are very much their own people, keepi...

LORE - The First Trials
The First TrialsCitizenship within the nation of Verdant is not a right but a privilege which must be earned to order to be appreciated. It offers many benefits such as marriage, the ability to own property, land, a business and the ability to pass things on to your children. By Verdant law, anyone who passes the trials has the right to these things, regardless as to where they were born or what their station in life was before. While the more mo...

Please download high-res image from the attachment. Choose either Light or Dark versions
The Orcs of the Dense Jungles - Race Artwork Overview
Race Profile – OrcsSome old tales say that the Orc people once had a great city that stood where Verdant now towers. But it matters very little. Muscular and agile, the orcs have found solace in their green surroundings for more generations than they can remember. However, they have not forgotten what was stolen from them. They have little trust for humans, and will not permit them to go beyond their border marks. Anyone foolish enough to tresp...
