Paid Commission 40: Blueberry Heidi (Very-High res)
Includes rough and tight sketches. The "rough" was created using my 3D software (Shade3D 14) since the characters had to interact with the background. The second rough shows the image in a grOw/cinema format, which the Commissioner requested. The Tight Sketchstage went through a few renditions, including making Heidi's blueberry form bulge more out of the windows, and then adding the close-up inset.Commissioner:uruseiranma"WOWEE W...

Archived Sketchbook samples from my old pencil art, throughout the years. These are some of the thumbnail sketches for drawings that would appear in grOw/stOry 8, "Pleasure Unit X from Outer Space."Sorry about the poor quality scan. The pencil was light and I am using a Brother All-in-one scanner/printer, so it's not high quality. (My good scanner died over a year ago, and I haven't been able to justify the cost of purchasing a new...

Paid Commission 19: Filming the BIG Scene (Very-High res)
Includes rough and tight sketch. The "rough" (or initial concept done before payment so that we are on the same page) for this one is both larger and drawn tighter than usual for this stage for two reasons: 1) it was a complicated layout; and, 2) the commissioner has paid for many commissions previously. As usual, the Tight Sketchstage is a full-size, tighter drawing very close to the final for the commissioner to review before I begin t...
