tamberlane post Figure Studies from patreon

The result of today's Figure Drawing session! Poses started at 30sec a piece, then moved to 1 min, 5min, 10min, 30min, and finally 1hr. I was focusing on trying to capture shape and gesture rather than straight-up anatomy, but ended up studying anatomy and color too. I'm REALLY proud of the color studies.Overall a very productive session and I both shook off a lot of rust and learned a lot!

How bout that, Belfry being weird? No one would have expected that. Thanks to Elle for flatting this page!

Style Studies (feat. Frux, Gunny, and Third)

Had it in mind to do some style study explorations today. There are little bits I wanted to try from different artists, so I wound up picking 3 $100+ patrons to model for me from the Art Study Subjectsform. The last several DWYWF (Draw What You Want Fridays, although it will be here on out CWYWF for Create What You Want Fridays, as we're making it more of a community event on the Foxglove Comics Discord server) have been me playing around with...

Ask the Cast: How Did Amber & Jason Meet?

Had a little extra time today (that's a lie, I really didn't, but I DID IT ANYWAY), so I threw together a cast Q&A answer!Note: I didn't run this one by Ari first so there's bound to be inconsistencies and plot holes and whatnot. So it may or may not stay canon in the future. But for now, enjoy the drama!

As it turns out, sometimes you say things you sort of regret. Thanks to Jared Dark (Der) and Melody (Bast) for your cameos! ... if you can call Bast on this page having a cameo lmao

Anyone who's read the side-story "Heart Questions" probably has some questions about this! After we solidified timeline and ages, Ari and I decided that we are going to make Heart Questions non-canon. As it turns out, I had Briar's age wrong from the outset, which means everything in that one is wrong. To elaborate:Creatures and humans mature at different rates, following the gist of "my dog is 34 in dog years". This is a h...

Major Patreon Fee Changes

What is happening to Patreon?Apple is requiring that Patreon switch to their iOS in-app purchase system starting this November, or risk being removed from Apple’s App Store. More than 40% of Patreon’s users come from their iOS app, leaving Patreon with no ch...

Hey friends! Thanks for your patience while I worked up all the assets for this scene. We should be full steam ahead now! (You know, aside from Kickstarter fulfillment stuff I'm working on too.)Ari and I have been wanting to show the teen group for YEARS. We have such plans. He's not dead!Had a fun time with this one. While I was putting the 4th panel together I made sure to set up all the non-paper detritus in such a way that they're all their own objects with tweakable layers, so I can use them as assets in future pages. :3 Also it was fun to just zen out and put together the 3rd panel (the stairs), and I'm pretty proud of both that and the creased, discolored version of the photo seen in Page 400.

Milo has a little "hoof-in-mouth" disease, whoops!!Thanks to Izzy for inking and Elle for flatting on this page! And thanks to Darch (Milo) for your cameo!
