Multiple points of view?
Will we have points of view in this story other than Emrys?

Sandara will, if things go to plan, end up as the next member of the party. Unlike Syl she is a bonafide priestess of the goddess of piracy, with a real Player Character class. Buuut what does that mean, really?

A beautiful and intelligent scion of the Noble Chelish House Aulamaxa. Unfortunately forced to go abroad due to the shameful nature of her birth.
What IS the party?
So we have a party mechanic. Obviously we want to fill it up if possible to get the most mileage out of it, but who with? Emrys can have friends and allies that aren‘t in the party, but they won’t have plot armor and might leave or fall out of focus. Short term all of these aspects will exist, but we only have 5 slots, so what constitutes an upgrade? Who is worth asking the audience if they get a party slot?

Next Priority?
Emrys has a party member and a routine now. He will only have a little bit of free time on most days, though he will have a little more at night.
Syl’s Build
Syl has been selected as our likely first party member. Alchemists are an extremely flexible class, and she will level up alongside Emrys as a party member, so what will she grow into? In all cases she will be more sturdy than our stalwart sorcerer, but how much so is up for debate.

How do you solve a problem like Jakes Magpie?
We have a mysterious rash. Emrys does not know dick about mysterious rashes, but Curtis, the man behind the drow, thinks that might be the problem. How do we address this? This will likely lead to our first party member.
Retraining?
It is possible to shift a skill point from one skill to another, so long as you are actively pursuing that skill and have a trainer on hand. Will Emrys be pursuing this option to become a better cook?If he does, what skill will he sacrifice?

Of the people we have seen so far, who will Emrys be focusing on first for the mission? He doesn’t have a job that will automatically put him onto work crews with anyone, so he’s going to need to go out and make his own opportunities.
How do we spend our night?
We have a rather interesting little spell that lets us stay up far past our bedtime. How will we make use of it?I might end up shifting releases for this story to mondays. Easier to buckle down and do more extensive writing over the weekend and these chapters are going through more editing.
