It’s finally done! You’ll notice the above “web ready” animated gif looks like crap, but the regular gif is almost 100mb and takes forever to load. So, please download the full-Res gif below, and please leave me your feedback. I worked almost 3 months on this, and learned a few things (for instance, that future animations need to be shorter, for the sake of my attention span).

Got the background like I want it, and the optic blast effect turned out well, I think. Shading the last segment is all I have left, but damn, it’s arduous.I’m thinking about posting just this to Hentai Foundry eventually, as a 5,000 Fan commemoration. Basic colors down. Shading and special effects (optic blast, some color processing) still to go. Also, I’m not sure about the background...Upon reflection, I think future animation projects are gonna need to be shorter, but I wanted to try telling a short story. The coloring is SO tedious, though.

I do, for some reason, like giving Daphne more cartoonish, exaggerated expressions; maybe because she’s a ridiculous character, whereas Rosie is more of a straight-woman.Anyway, this is technically June’s second page— sorry, the end of the month went by really quickly for me. Starfire Animation WIP #2

Still a ways to go, but with this one you start to get more of the story beats. The final shot will be a lot longer, but it’ll be largely looped. I have to animate a lot of tentacles still, try to give them some more “personality.” Lots of clean-up. And of course, coloring. I’d say the beginning, up to when she eye blasts the tentacle, is the farthest along. Realistically, it might be July before it’s finally done. But I don’t want to...

Starfire Animation WIP #1

This is just the rough Lineart of the first part of the new animation. This’ll be the longest animation I’ve done yet, and will include 2 cuts. This is the part before the first cut. I’m happy with it so far... especially since I get to work in some underboob, which I love.Anyway, round one looks like it’s going to Starfire, with her laser eye blast, but I have a feeling Raven’s tentacles will come back stronger in round 2.
