Mother: First Page Redraws
I am the first to admit that I have a bad habit of redrawing pages. In Rabbit Hole alone, my "redrawn"-folder has 30 pages.. oops (though some of them are minor changes). While I agree that redraws are usually the deathbell for a webcomic, that really isn't the case for me. I am always confident that the redraws I do, make me more invested in the comic. Not less! That is the case here too. I felt really unsatisfied with the pages I'...
Mother: New Style Concepts
In my general update I mentioned the new style for Mother. Here are the concepts I created while looking for the style I wanted to use!I use these as a guide when creating the comic. Overall I really enjoy this style, and its way way WAY more streamlined than the previous style I used. That style had like 6 different brushes and complicated textures added to the characters... what was I thinking! Now its just one brush for the characters, one brus...
2023 General Update
We are six months into the year but hey..Wanted to write a little update about how my comics are doing! How I'm doing. All that stuff!THE ME STUFF2023 has been rough for me! I wanted it to be the year of comics and drawing for me, but that didn't end up happening in the first half. I'm only now getting properly into it again! It was a combination of a lot of things, struggling to balance making comics & my job. Health stuff. And the bi...

Mother - Character studies
(might be a working comic title)Today I decided to tackle some character studies for my next comic! I've already done couple pages of it (some of them you've seen here already!), but when I opened my files to continue the work, i just wasn't happy. The characters just look clunky and the silhouette is pretty bad (check image 2). My regular art style is pretty cartoony, so i definitely struggle with more serious and loose works. I have...
Rabbit Hole - 171
Here's ya page! Long time no see, brother
Rabbit Hole - 170
Sorry it's been so long! I wanted to change the speech bubbles in the last panel to black to make it more clear that a flashback has started, but ugh, it's been holding this page hostage so I'll just post it!!Ofc its a very fast change but I've been sick so many times this month, and I'm extremely mentally drained because there are 500 things to get done. AHH. Don't wanna whine and complain but just wanted to let you know ...
Rabbit Hole old page remakes!
Dangit, I wanted to upload this yesterday but a migraine got to me. In preparation for (hopefully!) printing Rabbit Hole, I'm remaking older pages! I know lots of people consider this wasted time, and feel that its okay for comics to reflect your growth as an artist. I completely agree! BUT I also want to look at the pages and not keep thinking "damn those ears are small, gah i don't like that dialogue". Remaking RH pages is somet...
