Playing Catchup.
The final push to finishup Creating A Monster took a LOT longer than I thought, so I am running behind on several things. The animated clip for April of Lena and Maureen will be posted by Saturday (the image above is one of the frames from it,) and for the next week or so I won't be posting much so I can get caught up on commissions. The weekly updates for Gator vs. Sonya will continue as scheduled.
Boxer profile: Olivia Quartermaine
I was alerted that I hadn't posted this yet...
Last day for the April Private fight survey!
The survey should automatically close sometime this evening, so be sure to get your vote in! There's only a one vote lead for which weight class, and there's a tie for venue!
Weekly update delay, and a peace offering
Doing all the lettering for Creating A Monster took a lot longer than I expected, so I am now way behind on everything else. Because of that, the next page of Sonya vs. Gator will go up tomorrow. In the mean time, enjoy another beach test. (The beach images take only 20 minutes to render, as opposed to an hour and a half-ish for each sonya/gator image, so I was able to pop a couple out really quick!)

Beach Ring and Dirty Skin Test
Hadn't done anything with the beach ring lately, and wanted to test out a skin setting that gave it a dirty look, like she'd been knocked down to the sand a couple of times and it was sticking to her skin.I figured out of my new fighters, Gabriela would feel most at home here.Don't forget: Voting for the April Private match is open through Monday the tenth for patrons in the $10 donation tier, so if you want to see a fight in this loc...
Long Term Plans...
Wanted to give everyone an idea about where things will be headed over the rest of this year and into the next...So: I'd put out a poll, but since I'm currently doing a tournament for the lightweights I realized my next tournament should focus on the heavyweights!I've been posting new fighter profiles over the past few days, and I'll be continuing to add more, with the goal to have all the new heavyweightsestablished, withrivalrie...
Thursday update delay
Page 14 of Sonya vs. Gator will be a day late, and post on Friday. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Ainsley Revised
She feels a little more unique now...
Heavyweight Battle Royal/Video card test
Testing out how many figures I can have in a scene before the new video card runs out of space, and thought it'd be fun to throw the new heavyweights in together.
April Animation Poster!
There'll be more of a focus on punching than anything else, but I wanted to play around with animation in this setting, especially since images render extremely quickly.
Scottish boxer (Work in Progress)
I'm going to keep tweaking this one. I love the way she looks, but it's too close to someone else's original character for my taste.
New Boxer: Gabriela Santos
I'm hoping I got the nickname right...
April Private Match Survey!
All right, it's that time again! Last month's venue choice of the mma cage will be back as an option in June, but the smoky underground ring has returned as an option along with 2 new venues: The Rusty Cage (seen in the 100,000 fight story) and the boxing bed!Voting will remain open through the 10th!
Creating A Monster, Page 32(LAST ONE!)
Almost forgot to post this one...

Belts are so last year...
April Animation Survey: LAST DAY!
In case you missed it, the April Animation Survey ends Wednesday evening. With 28 votes in so far, i's a close race in all three categories! So PLEASE vote if you haven't already, and thanks to those of you who've already voted!
Final Test
Yeah, I think this will do nicely...
Another ring test, another new boxer...
Think I've got the new lighting rig right, just need to do a shot by the ropes to make sure.I'd also been thinking about adding a Chinese Heavyweight for awhile. I don't have a name for her yet, but I envisioned her as slightly shorter than the other heavyweights, but still a tank. I put her in with one of the new big girls, Olivia, to make sure she doesn't seem too small. And, I hadn't really seen how Olivia looks under the l...
Which weight division should expand?
I've started to think about the next round of new fighters for the WTFBA, with a focus on more of an international feel. Long term, I think I might do a world-cup style tournament next year, and I'd need to focus on adding the new fighters to one weight division to fill all the spots. So, I'm curious as to which weight division people would be more interested in seeing expanded first.
