Heavyweight Division Roster!
Since I have enough characters now, mainly enough lighter-weight ones, I'm splitting them up into 2(-ish)divisions, with 150 lbs. being the weight that divides the two. Now there'll be a belt that the lighter-weight girls can fight for without having to give up 40 pounds to face Mariana! The official Lightweight Roster will be coming soon!
Poll Update
I know I said I'd revamp just one character, but, well... The ones that are leading in the poll are the ones I worked on first. I'll post more tomorrow.
New Fighter: Sonya Domashev
Well, I don't think Mariana's my largest fighter anymore...More profiles coming tomorrow!
Need opinion on changes!
So, since I'm still pretty early in the process of animating Melly and Katsumi I'm thinking of changing a few things around before I've done too much work on it.The first thing is switching out to the new ring. I'm definitely going to do this because it makes everything brighter, which then makes everything render faster and at a higher quality. The second thing is some cosmetic changes I'm thinking of making to each fighter. T...
Boxer Profile: Ally Michaels
I'm going to start making these as I finish a redesign.
Which fighter's look should I revamp next?
Hey look! I can make polls now!Since I've been thinking about revamping the looks of some of my fighters(Personalized gloves and trunks, a new hairstyle, maybe they even decided to get a tattoo)I thought I'd take advantage of the new polling system to get some community involvement going! Vote for which fighter you'd like to see get a makeover next! The poll will close at midnight central time on Saturday, I'll debut the new desig...
January Animation WIP: Camera Angle #3 test
One last test before I animate the last two seconds of the January clip. The final product should be ready tomorrow!
January Animation WIP: Test Frame #3
Making sure the camera stays in focus on the way down.
January Animation WIP: Test frame #2
Checking the render time and position of the sweat spray.
Ideas for Future Tutorials?
I was wondering if there was anything in particular that you all would want me to cover in future tutorials. Leave your suggestions in the comments below!
Razor vs. Mariana, page 24
DING! Round one!
January Animation WIP: camera angle 2
Testing the focus and render time on my second camera angle before I start animating. I set this render to stop after 9 minutes, so a full second of animation at those settings would take 4.5 hours, which is doable.
Razor vs. Mariana: New Poster!
This is page 22 and 23 of Razor vs. Mariana combined into one poster. Originally, I was going to combine both images into a single page in the book as well, but I misjudged the space.
Second Trunk Test
I wanted to make sure the morph for the trunks still worked even if they were removed from the figure, and people have wanted to see more of Sylvia, so...Here's round 11 of Sylvia's fight with Tina "The Titan" Baker. Two rounds ago, Sylvia stripped Tina of her trunks after knocking her to the canvas with a barrage of lefts and rights and tossed them over to her corner, forcing Tina to continue the fight in just her thong! If Tina ...
