Foxglove Hanging Around
It's been a while since I uploaded, huh... Well here is something fun. A... hanging sticker? I dunno. Done on hard paper and covered with scotch (well, scanned before that) for protection and then cut with a bit of space around it's shape. Also a hole where the paws hold so it can be hung anywhere. One more sheet. It looks nice so I decided to upload. You know, sometimes you draw random stuff like during classes or in transport during a long trip? This kinda stuff, just a meditative relaxing and pleasant scribbling. First were the curves, then I wanted to add something to that base. It just struck me with small windows like these. I dunno, I mostly like line art. Adding tones and hatching gives something but takes something away. Kinda an opposite approach to professional art. All masters say one should learn volume, lighting, have no lines but shadows that sculpt the model. Oh well, I suck. Eternal amateur.
