Not counting the post-birthday "it was just a dream" comic, it's been a while since we've seen Violet, hasn't it? Now that she and the rest of the gag are drawn, methinks a stream is in order...

One thing I don't particularly miss about commissions, is the pressure I put on myself to finish them within a certain amount of time. I know other artists can take months to finish theirs, but I feel like I'm on the clock as soon as the commission is paid for. Good News - It's been a while since I did commissions, so I'd say we're overdue! Bad news - I can't do point commissions this time around. Freelance work has been too sparse this year, and the two contracts I'd been waiting for have so far showed no signs of actually happening. And based on past experience, if I don't have any contract work by the end of September, then I probably won't see any until February.Price-wis...

Hairy situation

For the sake of drawing something - I've been very short on ideas lately - today I started to revisit Daisy's casual hairdo. I haven't drawn her with her hair down in a while, because it's almost exactly the same as Mercy's.So far I'm leaning towards #3, but it feels like a cheat, since in the front it's the same as her work hair.
