ANIMATION - Captain Spike's New Diet

Animation commission for https://twitter.com/jimy55This one was an interesting, albeit tricky, one to figure out. I'm no stranger to corrective blendshapes, but this animation really had me push my boundaries to get this guys body to completely change shape. Overall I think the end result was worht taking some chances, and I had fun bringing this guy to life!

I've been experimenting with the idea of adding more merchandise rewards for my animated pilot the next time I try a kickstarter for it. I'm thinking about doing stickers/buttons, and these are some mock-ups I made for them. It's tricky trying to come up with something that fits with my short but is also something people would want to own.
