Update: My House has Flooded (Still Alive)

Oh dear. Downstairs flooded. The knee-high water burst through my door and knocked my refrigerator down & open. That's gonna prove to be an inconvenience... Like, the kitchen is WRECKED.Not sure how I'm gonna solve that. I hope the floor doesn't break under the pressure...I am posting this here just in case the situation should get worse and I am suddenly without power or internet and can not inform you.EDIT:The kitchen is filthy and ...

Fiery Combatants

The winners of this month's Voting Poll, Azula (Avatar the Last Airbender) and Rouge (Power Stone). Rather than creating two separate illustrations, I thought I'd save time with just one, and make it pretty lewd too.I've been a bit short on time this month, so this is getting posted later than initially planned. But these things happen.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

[Blog] A potential change of plans...?

Dropbox - Concept Art: [01]I got my second covid shot, so I’m feeling a bit sluggish, but it’s okay. I planned for this week to be unproductive due to the vaccine, so we’re still on schedule. That said, I am re-examining my decisions and whether I’m using my time wisely…Time is limited and my income hasn’t improved since last year. I’ve talked about this before, at several points since February last year. Since my home has been rece...

[Blog] Week 1 Complete

Dropbox - Concept Art: [01]… And that’s the end of our first week of proper work this month. So far, I’m on schedule with my expectations, so that’s good. I’ll need to begin the next set of pages tomorrow. I forgot how harsh working in black & white is on my eyes though...ComicProgress is coming along nicely, though I’m still not confident about the comic. I’m not very familiar with the style & the opportunities it provides, but I r...

Spontaneous Doodle of Cuties

Just a quick, spontaneous doodle featuring the brellomascot and another character that I've been drawing lately. I'm thinking about calling her Alice, though that sounds a lot more like a normal name than literally all of my other characters... Whoops.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Beaumont: The Wet Woman pgs.1-9 (not final images)

This is the first story in our upcoming Beaumont comic (this post was updated over time). In this story, Elayne hunts a vengeful Nure-Onna, (translated to “wet woman.”)Rather than focusing on complicated action sequences or wordy dialogue, like with the prototype, I wanted to prioritize emotional tone. This should give you a good idea of the kind of feeling the rest of the product will have.It was cool to design within a Japanese aesthetic, e...

Commissions - August 2021

Just a set of commissions from the month. Although I'll be busy working on the comic, I still need to take on other work because I am poor and financial pressures are picking up. So, I'll be dropping commissions into here.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

[Vote] Fire! Which character should I draw?

This month's voting poll theme was: Fire!Patrons suggested characters and I selected a few for this poll. Now it's up to you: which character should I draw this month? If I can manage to do so; the options in 1st AND 3rd place will be drawn! I don't know how that'll go with my focus on the Beaumont comic, however, so do keep that in mind. You have until 08/14/2021 at 1:30 PM (EDT) to vote.

[Concept] Beaumont: Short Stories - Thumbnails

I've spent most of the last week working on thumbnail sketches for our upcoming comic, and it's still pretty tough despite the simplified scope. This should give us a good idea of what the comic will look like, even before officially starting.Despite the simpler narrative scope & page count when compared to the Prototype comic, this project is looking to be more ambitious and experimental. I've reduced the amount of talking heads (in ...

[Blog] Work Progress Update

August's Voting Poll theme will be: Fire. This means you can suggest any character as long as you can relate them to fire in some way.Beaumont ComicI've spent the last week outlining the upcoming Beaumont comic project, which was harder than I thought it would be (glad I took a week for it). The product will have approximately 40 pages, but is subject to change. The scope of each story is smaller than the prototype and will focus more on ...

[Blog] IMPORTANT: Plan for the next few months!

Dropbox - Concept Art: [01]I am done working for July and have begun to prepare for August. There were a handful of cool pieces with multiple figures this month, and I hope we see more of those in the future. Anyway, I've refined my schedule for the next several months, so let's talk about that...Mission Start [August - October]The upcoming Beaumont comic will be a collection of short stories. Like the prototype comic, I’ll use this as ...

Summer Daisy

The 1st place winner of July's Voting Poll is: Princess Daisy!I ended up having to redo this once or twice, because my previous ideas just weren't as good. I'm glad I did, however, because I knew I wasn't planning to render it like the previous illustrations, and I needed it to still feel visually strong. While the line art is still rough like my usual sketches, I spent a bit more time focusing on the weight and form, so it feels a...

A Sticky Situation

I don't often find opportunities to work with different kinds of ideas in my work, so fetishes like this are pretty rare. But I'm having a bit of fun (while also neglecting other work), so here we go.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Twosome Doodle

Just a quick warm-up doodle as I get back into the swing of things. This is a cute duo of characters, and it's nice to step away from the watercolour style for sketches. Compared to my usual work, I do as little shading/rendering as possible -- another neat approach.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

[Blog] Update & Thoughts

There have been a few multi-figure works in this month’s collection of work, fun expressions, and even progress for Dragon Breast’s concept. Perhaps there’s value in ridding myself of expectations and just doing my own thing – but I still need to do better.THIS WEEK:I planned to work on an illustration this week but changed plans after deciding to work on two comics. So, I needed time to prepare and plan my workload from now to November. ...

[Blog] What's that on the horizon? Comic Plans?!

Dropbox - Concept Art: [01]I’ve spent the last few days taking it easy and thinking. I should consider having less workdays during the week so I can spend more time doing that. Anyway…Voting Poll ThoughtsThe latest poll featured an additional character, resulting in a total of 5 different characters. More options can help create a healthier balance, and it was interesting to watch the competition between Kase, Subaru, and Motoko. It reduces t...

[Concept] Dragon Queen #2

Just some development on the cursed dragon from Dragon Breast, the soul who resides within the TITular armor.I think we're close to an acceptable result, if we aren't already at one. The latest sketches have a good amount of character and unique shapes to help her stand out among my other characters. I think it's just a matter of refining the ratio of skin to apparel.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

[Vote] Tomboys! Which character should I draw?

This month's voting poll theme was: tomboys!Patrons suggested characters and I selected a few for this poll. Now it's up to you: which character should I draw this month? If I can manage to do so; the options in 1st AND 3rd place will be drawn! You have until 07/11/2021 at 9:00 PM (EDT) to vote.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Dazey Brells w/ Jane

Snow Daze is on the mind, and Jane was recently suggested for this month's voting poll. Despite Jane being my favourite by the end of my time working on the project, I have never drawn her for the Dazey Brell series of images. So, I'm rectifying that now. The entire set of characters have now been drawn with the Dazey Brellomascot!Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Spa Day Doodle

A spontaneous sketch featuring a character who's shown up a few times in the Dropbox as of late. I don't typically post a lot of outright lewd content directly onto Patreon, but maybe I will do more of that as I'm left to my own devices and the content becomes less structured. That said, some stuff will still only be shared via the Dropbox Archive.Don't forget to eat & sleep.

[Blog] Plans for July

Dropbox - Concept Art: [01] [02]July PlansWe’ve had a reliable system for the last few months, but something still feels empty. So, for July, I’m going to try something new – drawing what I want, how I want. We’re going to see how that goes. I’m going to free myself of expectations and simply do whatever I want (and commissions). Maybe this will lead to more creativity and even less stress. The next Voting Poll theme will be: Tomboys.Add...
