its a boomerang
This Piece:I've been pretty tired as of lately, but I did some work on the latest Cassiopeia Quinn page, so I figured I'd do some personal sketching too - so this happened. Yay, boomerangs!Other Thoughts:Although I've been drained as of late, I have been doing a bit of thinking, and I'm considering doing a lot more comics - possibly extended projects to start on. I'll likely talk more about that soon.I also bought LittleBigPla...
bodyslide girl
I had an impromptu stream earlier and I tossed this together. Feeling a bit out of it, but this was a pretty nice sketch considering that was the case. I don't draw the Bodyslide Girl enough.
tentacle sketch
There are reasons which lead me to believe I'm going to have trouble sleeping and waking at times which are to my liking. So tossed this together quickly to have something to show you in the event that my sleeping pattern is not congenial to me getting art done early enough the following day.I know it's a weekend, and I don't obligate myself to post on weekends, but I do feel awkward going the weekend without sharing anything.
slimy chu lonk
This Piece:It's a slimy chu link I guess. Probably could've been more stylized with it and made it resemble an actual chuchu more.Other Thoughts:I woke up a few hours ago, so I didn't have as much time to do things today. So I made this my priority before doin' anything else.
doing some cleaning
Don't lift like this. This Piece:I'm doing a bit of cleaning today and trying to clear my room up of wasted space because of cardboard boxes. I just made an order for a handheld cordless vacuum, which I've never had before, but I hope it makes a pretty big difference in my life. The noise will probably be scary though. So my artistic responsibilities for today will be pretty low, so I can spend more of it cleaning (because it's har...
you are the hero of hyrule
This Piece:I've never particularly shipped Link & Zelda outside of a few titles where they clearly had emotional connections with one another, but still a pretty neat drawing overall!I've still never fully settled on a Princess Zelda to go along with my Link, but I generally feel like she'd be most likely designed after classic and cartoon series Zelda. I like a princess with pants. Not too much to say about this piece; the colours are...
marriage dress sketch
I'm feeling pretty tired, but I figured I'd draw something before it got too late and I got absorbed into other things. This post is pretty short, but I'm giving some thought to my performance this previous week, and how I want to improve what I'm doing. I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied with the quality of my work as of late. More on that soon.
Lean Pichner 2
This Piece:An outfit from Phantasy Star Online 2 that I really like, created by a fan who won a costume design contest. It kinda reminds me of something out of the Megaman Zero series. I don't have it yet, but I might like to.Other Thoughts:I've been playing PSO2 quite a bit lately. It absorbed me in particular over the previous weekend, but I've done a lot of grinding to the point where getting to the level cap's going to be a sl...
tid toph
This Piece:Quick sketch. I'm not crazy about it, but that's okay because these things happen.Other Thoughts:I've had some nice momentum as of lately (although slightly interrupted b y PSO2, so I should fix that). I'm glad that the Patron Sketch Suggestions have been working out so well, though I could arguably do even more.I definitely want to address the quality concern in my work though, and it's something I mentioned briefl...
lean picchner
This Piece:I've been playing a lot of PSO2 (Phantasy Star Online 2) over the weekend, and having the Link gear really helped me enjoy myself more, but also the fact that I'm playing a different class. It sort of plays like a faster-paced Monster Hunter. This is one of the outfits I don't have, but would like to. All of the pretty costumes are so expensives. There's swimwear, even, that ranges from 3-8 million in-game monies. I kin...
more n3bula sketches
This Piece:Just some more sketches of N3bula's character, which I had drawn a few days ago. Though I don't think these particular ones are as good as the previous set; they're lacking a certain charm. But that's alright because these things happen.Other Thoughts:I woke up not too long ago; within an hour or so, really. I got out of bed and jumped straight to drawing. Though I should probably try to fit more time in taking care of ...
N3bula Sketches
This Piece:Just some assorted sketches I tossed together before going to sleep last after seeing a drawing by N3bula. Pretty neat design.Other Thoughts:Something bad happened, aaaah. I lost track of time and now it's morning. I've been trying to sleep earlier so I can wake up earlier, and it's been mostly going well. I started playing PSO2 yesterday because I was finally able to get the BotW gear (though I wasted 30 bucks on the Switc...
Whispy Eyes
Not necessarily NSFW, though safe to call fetish material, I'm sure... It's kinda hypnosis-y - though exploring the side that's not inherently pornographic (or at least the prelude). This entire piece exists just so I could try out the fadey glowing trails emitting from the eyes. A bit roughly done, but it works out well enough.I'll probably post this on tumblr in a few hours.Don't forget to go to sleep.
tetra sketch
This Piece:A fairly small sketch, but a neat one. Wind Waker's Tetra, though with a few adjustments here and there, like the smaller shirt to show off her upper torso and midriff just a bit. The toughest challenge was trying to re-interpret her hair swirl; which looks nice in it's original style, but looks awkward when portrayed with a slight bit more realism. I decided to simply portray it as a ponytail, and I think that definitely does ...
moolink garb
Just a pretty neat doodle I tossed together rather spontaneously. I'm not entirely certain why I started this. I believe I was testing out how referencing a figure on my desk would work.Drew some inspiration from this work of Cuisine's.Don't forget to eat and sleep.
lonk doodles
I'm feeling pretty drained. I went to sleep relatively early last night, and woke up around 5-6am this morning. Which is great because it means I'm up earlier in the day, but it might've been just a tad bit too early. I went out for a bit and walked around Toys R Us; they didn't have anything I was interested in purchasing. Going out makes me tired. So I've just got some basic doodles here; though I expect to still be creative...
amaranth doodle bust
This Piece:A pretty simple bust. I was spending most of my creative energy working on the next page for Cassiopeia Quinn, though I had to stop because I'm tired. I'd like to step away from the typical "here's a character at 3/4 in front of a near-white background" especially now. I want to spend time on some much larger illustrations, but I have to find a way fit it into the upload schedule.Exhaustimcated:I'm pretty tired....
Monthly Dropbox Archive - April 2018
Here we go, this month's Dropbox Archive is live!https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6pcq1n7uysiyvn5/AADzvwTAc1HCFxgu-3eMYBp8a?dl=0By utilizing Dropbox, it's possible to have a dedicated gallery space for easier viewing of my art - and any other goodies. While there have not been any art posts yet this month on Patreon, there are already a few pieces of content already in the archive.
Patron Sketch Suggestion - April 2018
What do you want to see me draw this month? Here we go again, a new month to suggest what you'd like to see from me. Your ideas can be suggestive of some lewdness, but do keep in mind that this thread is view-able by SFW Patrons, so keep vulgar words to a minimum. You can share more explicit NSFW suggestions in the NSFW thread.Feel free to suggest whatever you'd like, whether it's the same thing as last month or something new! Just kee...
End of March Progress Update
Time to review the last month - that sure was a month, wasn't it? I'm exhausted!Engagement: First and foremost; engagement has risen up just over 30% since the month of December, so that's great. The total pledge has dropped in the last month, but that's bound to happen sometimes; finances can be tough for people.Snow Daze & Income: This week has been a pretty quiet one from me, because I just finished up work for Snow Daze (that ...
Moo Link
This Piece:It's a Moo Link! I can't say that I'm crazy about this piece, but I suppose this wasn't my primary responsibility for the day; it was just something done for fun. I think it looks a bit too soft & formless, however. Also flat.Patrons with access to the Patreon Dropbox, there's a NSFW variant.Other Thoughts:I finished my work for Snow Daze earlier today and exported all the things - and that might be the very last bi...
Discord Server set up - Trial Run!
After giving some thought to it, I set up a Discord Server. I'm still uncertain about it, and not yet sure exactly how I'll utilize it in the grand scheme of things. So let's just consider this a trial run for now then. Figured I'd best start it before the month is over. There are a handful of patron-exclusive channels, but plenty of public channels too.I've shared a link to the Discord on my tumblr, but I am not making a big d...
amaranth bust
Probably the first coloured Amaranth in a while. There's some really nice colour variation in the skin especially, a neat mixture of reds and blues. The hair's got a nice dynamic combination of violet and yellow, which are complementary colours - but they do create a bit of a neutral greyish/brownish colour. Not entirely sure if that's bad or good.Don't forget to eat and sleep.
royal knight drone
This Post:A pretty neat piece, though still far from perfect. Some shading issues, and the background's white. I think Zelda's head is a tiny bit too large. Alas. I suppose Drone Link is, at least to some degree, under the control of Princess Zelda, or something.A rather spontaneous drawing from my latest stream. It was the only thing I created, but I spent quite a bit of time doing some work for Snow Daze. I'm hoping to finish that w...
Sketch: Unexpected Tentacle Mishaps
Cassiopeia Quinn:I really enjoyed working on the latest page of Cassiopeia Quinn, in which I handled pretty much all the colours. It was a bit intimidating but it worked out in the end. I hope you take a look at it if you don't read CQ.This Post:Here's a neat little draw I'm certain some people would be interested in; I've seen tentacle mishaps with Link as a Patron Suggestion once or twice during the last two months. This kind of...
question chicken
I worked quite a bit today, mostly on some work for Cassiopeia Quinn.I slept through half of Friday and actually woke up at midnight of the next day, so I've been awake almost 9 hours. But I'm already pretty tired... Could probably use a bit of exercise and some food, I suppose.I did some sketches of Question Duck, an old comic by Psudonym. I must admit I'm not entirely certain what the grand scheme behind Question Duck is, but I assu...
test discord test
I've been thinking about setting up a Discord server recently. I'm not certain if I'm going to commit, as it's a responsibility, and therefore, a slightly scary idea. However, I thought I'd inform you anyway just in case that's something you might actually really like. Though I'm not sure just how many conversations I'd be leading, and a great number of you are likely pretty busy in other servers. I, myself, am alr...
anthology short story ideas
I've been giving some thought to an anthology of FemLink short stories, but it's still only thinkings - not sure when I expect to embark upon it, as there's still plenty of writing that needs to be done.I do a lot of silly & sexy female link arts, but the anthology would likely be a relatively more serious work. It's narrative mostly serves to portray Link the way I see the character, with less sexy bouncing boobs and more emotion...
blue
I was having a bit of a hard time drawing something in my stream from last night, so I went in this direction, inspired by this piece.I was pretty much only following the general composition and colour scheme, but in retrospect, I wish I had given a bit more attention to the form - especially the face. My faces tend to look a bit flat. The piece in general has a bit of muddiness, which isn't ideal either. Ah well. I was planning to add the st...
Royal Knight Drone Link
Some of my friends sketched some "Drone Links" for me in the past. I suppose there's an element of mind control/bad end to them; though I don't fully know the entirety of the concepts - as it was not intended to be used for Link. It's kinda kinky and slave-y. It's not officially called "drone" but some people have taken to calling it that.I decided to try my hand at it, though I was mostly just familiarizing myself...
