Good Butt Day
I'm having a good butt day so I thought I would share the love. Enjoy.
Working on Cabaret of Evil for Tonight!
The tabs from left to right - the full tech sheet, email with all the performers, folder of stuff I need to print, the DJ's Copy of Setlist, the Stage Manager's copy, the backstage copy, the event page, and my calendar. I'm trying out a new method for printing out the tech sheets (Super exciting, I know) where I C&P the whole cells rather than just the individual information. We shall see if it works out better than the more time-cons...

It's an alphabet soup of rainbow fun! A full shot of the bodypainting job by Ky Mirabel.
Rehearsal Space
Tonight I was able to have a chair work rehearsal time with troupe mates and it was sweaty and wonderful. Thank you to everyone on here, having money in my PayPal lets me rent these rooms and hone my craft. <3

Office Hours
Tonight, I'm camping out at the Mercury with my laptop for the first time in ages. I stopped going after numerous people commented on the strangeness of bringing my laptop to the club, but I seem to have run out of fucks. There's work to be done. There's people here I want to support. I'm not ready to go home yet. So I'm going to sit in this booth with my laptop and a sprite and bust through my to-do list. Anyone who cares...

My Eyes Hurt
I spent way too much time worrying about fonts on this poster, which may not even be selected as the one we use. But here it is! A finished draft. Plus now I have at least 2 new sites to go to for graphic design resources.
RIP Night of the Living Nerds
Last night I was told by the Mercury that Night of the Living Nerds will be no more. It's not doing well in numbers and some people in the community are "actively avoiding it". This hurts my heart for a number of reasons, but I recognize that that's the way these things go. I took some time last night to really mourn and even though my heart is heavy today, I know I have to press through. Especially since I have only a month to co...

Poison Ivy Video
I finally got video of one of my performances! I'm using this to submit to the OR Burlesque Festival as well as Burlesque Burlesque Burlesque in NC (because why not!) so while it's up on Youtube and publicly accessible, I'm not advertising it anywhere. Here's hoping I can get more videos of my performances. Having this available is super helpful to watch and see where I need improvement, and it's great to help me submit to sho...
Moving
I had some shirts and other merch up on Inktale but they decided I show too much skin so now the plan is to give TeeSpring a try! Use discount code 'PATREON' for free shipping!
The Circle of Starving Artists
Sometimes I joke that in Seattle, the same $50 will get passed in a circle of Starving Artists. With that in mind, I would like to share who the first $4 of every month's Patreon Payout goes to. A few minutes ago I pledged to Sophie Labelle , who does Assigned Male comics. They were recently doxxed by Transphobic Nazis (Redundant, I know) and have lost their facebook page and are considering moving. My very first Patreon was Robert Tritthard ...
Sneak Peek
Of my Pride body paint! This was an in-progress shot. Stay tuned for more!
Grants Pass Adventure
Oh my what an adventure I had this weekend! My dear friend Nick, whom I dated when I was 17/18, got married this weekend. He and his now-wife hired me to come DJ the event and here's some honesty for you - I actually prefered working rather than just attending. I'm a terribly anxious person in social situations as it is and there's a lot of insecurities floating that come to the surface when one of your first major boyfriends gets mar...

Here's How to Get Discounted Tickets to Star battles
Last night's Alice in Lubeland was the second W.S. & Company show in a row to sell out the Rendezvous, so we are raising our ticket prices. However, before we do that, we're offering an early-bird special that is only available to a short list of people. If you're reading this, you're on that list! Just go to http://starbattles.bpt.me/ before this coming Sunday and then relax and enjoy knowing that you're one of the cool kids ...
First Buttons!
I made the first round of buttons on my new machine (THANK YOU LIVING COMPUTER MUSEUM FOR THE GIG THAT PAID FOR THIS). Each button was printed, punched, and carefully packaged for tomorrows show, which is sold out. Now I sleep. Maybe.

Tomorrow's To-Do
Or today's, at this point. Taking some time to unwind from my day and get tomorrow set up.
SEAF
This weekend brought the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, and my 3rd year working (but first year in the role of Volunteer Director!). This year was especially special not only because it was the 15th annual SEAF, but because for the first time an image of me was accepted into the festival. What's more, it sold before the festival even opened to the public! Combo bonus: It was purchased by one of the literary artists (which is how he got early a...
My. Favorite. Photo.
From Fire and Tassles. I love the rage and passion and throat-grabbing.
SEAF
It's Seattle Erotic Arts Festival time! I've got my sexiest comfy outfit on and am going to be checking in volunteers and being something like 6th in charge (one time I was in charge in charge for like an hour).

Lady Stoneheart
The first photos are trickling in from last weekend's Fire and Tassles show! This character was a lot of fun to put together - not just because I love being the weird, dark, bloody girl in a room full of glitter. The character of Lady Stoneheart is a dark and murderous one full of rage, and I can absolutely dig it. After watching her own son be murdered, she went mad with grief and clawed at her face before her throat was slit. In defiance of...
