Make sure to choose your reward tier!
Hey everybody. You may have noticed some reward changes/additions over the past month. Now that things are settled into place, I wanted to remind you to update your reward tier to make sure you see all of the posts you've earned. If you are currently donating a $1, you're all set and have nothing to do. For everyone $5 and up, just make sure you have the correct rewards selected. Thanks!
Armstrong sketch
I thought about whether or not Alex should be wearing a shirt...for about a second.
I had no idea this guy would win.
sketching now...
Sophia Esteed
as requested, a recent deviantart commission. Since this is TECHNICALLY fanart, I might as well post it. :) $5 and up patrons, let me know if you'd like the HD file and I'll send it via messages.
Character Vote: Manliness
Deadline is Sunday night. Check the link for references! Boy, wouldn't it be swell if Patreon let me simply post the picture right here instead?http://hybridmink.deviantart.com/art/5-4-Patreon-vote-Manliness-678948881?ga_submit_new=10%3A1494022601
Updated milestone and Rudra
Hey guys! I just wanted to give you an update on the next milestone. At $200, there will be more frequent character polls and an additional NSFW yuri piece to the monthly lineup (visible to the $10 tier). The current monthly output is:-2-3 character polls-1 classy nude pinup-any additional commision and personal work that I can show off.Hitting the $200 milestone will bring character polls up to 4 and an additional yuri piece (2 girls, but still c...
Morrigan (2017)
A partial reaction to Morrigan's new look in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite; a somewhat (spilling) over-the-top version of Morrigan. I haven't drawn her in years so it was high time I took another crack at it.This is also a test to see if people are interested in NSFW content. I like to keep things classy, even with nudes. $10 supporters get the nude version and $20 get the layered psd with clothing on separate layers. You can check those out...
Morrigan (SFW outline)
The first NSFW piece will be Morrigan! This is the clothed version to give you a preview. The nude version will be available to the $15 tier, along with the full-sized, layered psd containing both versions.
Would you prefer I keep adult content off of this site?
I mentioned a while back that I was considering NSFW content as a high tier reward, but I have a feeling that some people would prefer that it not appear in their inbox at all. What do you think?
Celes
Despite seeing Celes in "World of Final Fantasy" and "Record Keeper," it had been a while since I played VI and I really didn't remember much about her character. I brushed up on her backstory and realized that she's actually kind of a badass. Not to mention she can wield Ultima Weapon! As such, I decided to go with her Spinning Edge attack.
Celes lineart and flats
There's some anatomy weirdness right now that should be resolved once shadows are in play. I remove the contour lines and light shading when cleaning up the sketch so it's important to keep this stuff in mind so I'm not screwed down the road. :)
Celes sketch
One of my favorite sketches in recent memory. I almost don't want to clean it up...but I will!
Neo Zero Suit Samus
Here's a recent commission that I thought I'd share! He was nice enough to let me post the psd and HD files for you guys. :)
Character Vote: Final Fantasy Girls
You know the drill. You vote and I draw! Visual references at the link below:http://hybridmink.deviantart.com/art/4-27-Patreon-vote-FF-Girls-677141247
Biker Peach
As voted on by you guys, it's Princess Peach from Mario Kart! I hope you'll all keep voting on future polls to come! Remember, $5 gets you everything I draw at full size (5-6000 pixels tall) and $15 gets you the psd's. I actually ended up using a lot of layers towards the end on this one.Hope you like it!
Ravy Phone Wallpaper Version
I decided to make this crop for my phone and thought it was worth posting if anyone else would like to use it. :) (1080 x 1920)
Peach sketch
With a couple hours left to go on the poll, I figured it was a safe bet to start early. :)
Character Poll: Karters
I'm hoping to have 2 of these polls a month. Voting is available to all patrons. This one will be for Mario Kart! Who would you like to see karting (or maybe biking) in the next drawing?http://hybridmink.deviantart.com/art/4-19-Patreon-vote-Karters-675864604
Ravy & Adventure
I've been playing a lot of big open world games lately. From Zelda to Nier and now Horizon, I've just got adventure on the brain! Zelda's world was very much an inspiration for the background in this piece. Foregoing visual density for cleanly defined areas is right up my alley.I haven't drawn Ravy's partisan weapon in like...5 years I think: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Ravy-MK-I-Suit-345317432. It has a pump action mode cha...
Ravy & Adventure HD file
full sized, uncompressed jpg!
Well that was unexpected...
Thanks for the Ravy love! Maybe I can make this one a bit more...epic.
Ravy (2015)
While I'm sure you can google or remember the other 2 poll choices, here is the latest image of my mascot character Ravy! Make sure to vote below!https://www.patreon.com/posts/8809092
The next character I draw should be...
In an effort to give you guys a little more, I wanted to find out who you'd like me to draw next! Originally this was going to be reserved for certain tiers, but I'd like to try a trial run with this one. Feel free to tell your friends to help you cheat as this poll is open to the public! As a reminder, the $5 tier now gets full size (roughly 5500 pixels tall at 300 dpi) images of everything I draw!
Kobayashi & Tooru
I love Kyoto animation's special blend of "slice of life" as it often contains random action sequences and genuinely funny, down to earth dialogue. Mix in some dragons and you have my favorite show from last season.
Felicia!
It's been a long time since I've drawn Felicia. She's one of my favorite characters in MVC3 and always fun to draw. I honestly didn't realize she had nothing covering her butt when I decided to go with this pose, but I stuck it out in the end. Quite literally.
Eirika
From Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I play Heroes every now and then and I really liked her design so I had to draw her!
Recent commission work
I've been doing a lot of freelance work in the past couple weeks so I'm STILL not done with the Eirika that I previewed last week. I decided to share one of the characters I worked on for a client so you still have something to look at. Not actually posting this anywhere else for the time being.Hopefully finishing Eirika this week with potentially 1 more fanart character for March. :)
