New Usability Features / Improvements
Just a note to tell you things have changed since the last batch of mocaps - and the new ones will be easier to port to new scenes. Previous mocaps had some odd settings on the hip / abs that look great in my scenes, but make it difficult to save the animation for use in other scenes. I've changed my methodology such that the mocap still looks the same, but you'll now be able to use MocapSwitcher for example to save and load the mocap ont...

Just a peek into the future - I'm working on a collab with new and upcoming mocapper "CuddleMocap". I've been working with him and his GF- they're pretty cool people. Equipment Issues
Just a little note about what's happened this month. During a mocap session, I broke my hand tracker - ripped a pogo pin off completely, which means replacing the entire tracker. The biggest issue with that is there are special connections that I custom made in order to press buttons in VAM without a controller. It's been repaired - but it set me back a bit!
Elf Breast Play!
What do you get when you combine VR Gloves, a pretty Elf Model made by Pikavam (Nora on the Hub) and a VamTimbo Mocap? This! Thanks to Pikavam for letting me use the model. I did have to strip it of the skin and hair that all use NC assets - but what you see in this video is exactly what you can expect (minus the camera work).

If you're trying to move the model and you can't - read this post!
Many of you have commented that on my earlier mocaps you're unable to move things. This is because I have the nodes turned off for "grab" during mocap - because believe it or not, during mocap recording it's easy to accidentally grab a node - like a kneecap or hip or something - and pull it out of place - so I purposely have this set to not be possible during recording. The result though - is that you're unable to do it also -...

3+ minute long walking mocap
This is 3 minutes of walking - not a loop! Some moments may be sexier than others - so look through it and see if there are any nice movements and create some custom loops!This was done on a treadmill.. with heels.. enjoy! It uses Timeline from Acid Bubbles to play the scene.

What's Next?
In addition to continually trying to improve the accuracy and look of the hands resulting from the newly created gloves plugin - this is what I'm attempting to achieve next - with the help of a very well-known and talented plugin writer - I will name him later with permission - but the goal is to be able to trigger things based on finger position - and in the case shown above - the ability to real-time grab cloth and record while this happens...
