Film set with @nathan.lobato I love my apartment. It's tiny. It's expensive. But it has a great big window that gives me so much light. All kinds of light. I can watch the sunrise and sunsets from my bed. And outside my window is a fire escape where I can watch all the people.

A lot of you probably know I take photos as well as being in them. I don't share them often but I thought I'd post a couple recent photos I took of @kayfulls. Not sure how much I'll share in the future, but I thought these were pretty. Dirty Mirror Selfies

So I got home today and the light in my room was amazing. I didn't have time to clean off my mirror but I actually ended up loving how it looked.

These are a mix of self portraits and photos I made my sister take of me. My sister isn't a photographer, so I set up my camera's settings and handed it to her hoping she'd get it in focus at least. But this place was beautiful and I wanted photos and I'm lucky to have a sister who supports me enough to take naked photos of me!

Self portraits don't always turn out

In this case I was backlit and couldn't tell because when I was focusing the camera, it didnt show. I also couldn't meter to my skin because, well, it wasn't in the frame while I was metering. The red you see is from the book my camera is sitting on. But it looks like light leaks so I think that's pretty cool.

Did some fun underwater things today on film! Also tried out my gopro for the first time and it was super fun. Here's a little snapshot from it until I get my film back! Developing 3 rolls tomorrow so hopefully I'll have lots of new goodies later this week.

Max and I always shop before our shoots and buy random shit. Including this dripless candle that max thought would drip and pearl beaded ribbon that I decided to wrap around my face. How do you guys like hearing insight about my shoots? Does it take away the magic or bring it more to life?

Not everything I post here will be nude. Not everything I post will be agreeable. This shoot was by far the most controversial I've ever done. It left me with a lot of questions of why people reacted the way they did. If I was posing with rolls of sushi all over my body would it have incited a less visceral reaction? Is it okay that it made me a little sad, but also appreciate it at the same time? Do people know how often I thought about this...

Shower selfies.

I've been having a lot of fun with my self portraits. It gives me more of a chance to create more content for you, and also practice my hand on both sides of the camera. They're challenging for lots of reasons. I can't see what my camera is capturing when I'm taking them so it's a lot of guessing and trial and error. The camera is usually at a fixed angle for each shot or else I have to rig it different ways between each photo...
