There's probably some TMI in here, but it's kinda part of where I want to take this page - if it's to survive. TL;DR: I'm ok for now. Life is.. life. But I'm around Full explanation: I'm surviving. Existing. Whatever you wanna call it. I'm constantly looking for a new job, as my current one doesn't pay enough for me to eat real food. My boss also doesn't see any problems with telling a person on the verge of bankruptcy and deep in the pits of depression that they should just "be happier". So that's fun. I've decided to shut down my VIP site as I know I won't have the energy, physically or mentally, to keep it going and make it worth while for those that sub there. So I've pulled the plug there for now. While looking for new work I'm also contemplating going back to school for a trade (cabinetry/joiner) but I need to save up 4 months of living costs to be able to take the training. (Apprx $8,000) It may be TMI but my living expenses are gross. Per month I spend $1700 before I eat food. Breakdown of expenses for anyone curious: Rent: $900 Transport (public): $65 Utilities (phone, heat, internet, electricity): $200 Student loans: $600 Per month I make a little under $1900 after taxes. I'm essentially left for <$200 for food and personal care or a month. Plus any extra surprises that happen. Because of the above break down, and the fact that it's so hard to find work that pays enough to actually live here/ places willing to train, my options are limited. I'm very likely going to have to uproot my life, say goodbye to all the friends I've made in the last 5 years, and move back home with my parents.... Being almost 30 and having to move home is.. not a fun feeling. I've been wrestling with this in my head for a while now and it's sadly a real thing I need to consider. Cause at this point, it's that or homelessness. I don't want to delete this page because it's been fun, and I'm proud of how far it's come since I started. I would hate to see it disappear. However, I've noticed my expectations for what I post have just gone higher and higher, and I can no longer find joy in making spicy content at the quality I want for this page. At least not for spicy content. For the time being, I'm going to be transitioning this page to something.. a little different. I'm still working out the specifics for what that means, but there will be a .. re-branding, so to speak. I'll post more about that at a later date. For now, I appreciate any and all support.
