What do you think of blanched asparagus?!? Celery is blanched and I prefer it that way. Asparagus though, I'm just not sure! I am interested in trying blanched Rhubarb! Blanching is basically limiting light to growing plants to keep them tender. It's also a term used in food preservation that means a quick partial cooking process prior to freezing.
