Daphne meets the Horse-men of the Acropolis. I’m pretty sure that’s the saying.I’m a little concerned that the sequence of panels may be confusing. I like the dynamic layout, but is it clear that Daphne talks about her excitement second in sequence, and Squanknuts gets riddled with arrows third?EDIT: I took Sebastian’s excellent layout suggestion, and now I think it’s clearer.

I think part of it is that characters turning— their heads, bodies, etc, always intimidates me to an unreasonable degree. So I’ve focused mostly on that. Ann Possible WIP #1

More of a “proof of life” than anything, I suppose. Trying a new thing, which is to lay down the animation VERY rough at first, when previously I’d draw each frame, well, first (with a lot of copy/paste assist). I’m hoping this leads to a looser final product, but it remains to be seen. Once the entire animation is roughed out, then I plan on going back and doing good drawings in between the rough frames, then drawing over the rough frame...

This is the first appearance of the Wizard Randolph, or Randy for short. ”A Wizard” won a poll for who our heroes should encounter next, many months ago. This month’s pinup. Honestly, I’m a bit “meh” on how she turned out, but I’m not sure how to make it better. I decided to make her luminescent, like the cartoon, but that doesn’t work with shading/shadows. You can have one or the other. So, luminosity won out, but I think it makes her kinda ”flat” in stills, especially in this pose.Lessons learned, I suppose…Oh, and background by some anonymous Disney artist
