Jackanapes The Seventh, Page 9

I’m not sure, but maybe this is the first time I’ve drawn furries? Anything to work little bits of sexy into the plot, if anybody here likes that. Jackanapes has turned out to be a little bit of a vehicle to draw some fetishes that other artists seem to do a lot of, but I don’t, like furries or futa (in Jackanapes 2). I tend to be kinda vanilla in my tastes, so… I’m stretching.But anyway, SPECTACULAR TITS!

Kinda went above and beyond on this sketch, because the suggestion for the subject was novel, and someone I liked, plus it was a good fit for a composition I’d been wanting to try. They won’t all be like this, in terms of polish, but I really liked this one, and I do my best when I like what I’m doing.

I honestly enjoy my art in Jackanapes more than most of the other stuff I draw. I don’t often get a chance to draw cartoonish, expressive faces, and it’s one of my first loves. Also, I get to write funny dialogue that makes my wife giggle.Thanks to you all for supporting me in this project!

I keep going back to this old commission, and I’m sorry. I just felt bothered that it never lived up to the image I had in my head. Changing the lighting to light from beneath really helped a lot, and I think I’m happy with it now.Let that be a lesson to any future commissioners out there— you MIGHT get several successive revisions that you didn’t have to pay for!
