This Weeks Video & update
Apologies this was not early. Truth be told I struggled to get it up at all this week. My eldest has been back in hospital for what was hopefully his last surgery. He is recovering nicely and can finally stop taking nine antibiotic tablets a day. If you're new-ish here you can see what happened last time he was in hospital and why he was on high level antibiotics for the last 18 months in this video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOdY49cX...
Behind the Scenes
When you see the sugared almonds being added in stop motion in the video the reality is I am adding one almond, taking a photo, adding another, taking a photo. It is a very time consuming process. But I love seeing the end result when they magically cover the balloon.
EARLY ACCESS
My Gingerbread House for 2019, I hope that you love it. Home made gingerbread tastes so amazing compared to the store bought houses. If you don't have time to make a whole house just bake a batch of cookies using this dough, you'll love it.
A little bit of chocolate
Just a few blocks of chocolate needed for creating this week. This is only about half of them. Yes, I got strange looks at the checkout.
EARLY ACCESS
My comment feed has been filled with videos that people are sending to be tested. So here is yet another instalment of the debunking series.
Early Access to tomorrows video π
This week has been a busy one. Judging the competition was fun, but took a very long time to look at every website that was entered and finally narrow it down to just 6 winners. πI went shopping today and purchased so many blocks of chocolate that three seperate people stopped me to ask what I was buying it all for. As I got into my car I thought of you my patrons and how much I appreciate being able to buy ingredients for creative videos. So ...

Just finished editing this one πsorry it wasn't up last night. This week I am looking at some baking hacks from my great grandmothers 100 year old cookbook. Some of these are common sense, others are weird and one is genius.Make it great week by making some great choices.

You asked for it... I looked through my mums 200 year old cookbook to see what dessert recipes looked interesting either in process, ingredients or finished product. Even the simplest of recipes was so hard 200 years ago.
π Stickers & Magnets
Sending stickers & magnets to this months new patrons, thanks for joining the team ππ

Oh my, this took a LONG time to make, mainly because it had 8 different flavours. You only need three flavours to have enough for a cube, so choose your favourite three and make your life simple. It does look pretty epic with so many colours though.
What would you like me to film next week?
Be aware that I tend to film a couple of weeks ahead. And I don't always put them up in the order that I make them, so this won't be the next video that you see on the channel - but the poll winner will be what I film next π
