Yesterday was a difficult day. We woke up to find that our pup was sick and his breathing was shallow. When we got him to the vet we found out that his lungs were filled with fluid because he was in the later stages of heart failure. He was 12 years old so we knew that there was a possibility we'd be dealing with health issues soon but we still weren't ready.
