Tebra

An Update

Dear Patrons,I am a relative of Tebra's. Because of some personal circumstances, they have taken a step back from their artwork, possibly indefinitely.Apologies for this update but things have been rough this year on all of us. I hope you all enjoy the artwork that is available. And if you message, please know that I do not check this stuff often, as they are usually the one that does all this.

Star Trek

Some fun from today. Don't we all wish there WAS such an episode?

New Stuff

Guy's I'm sorry for taking so long between posts. I know it sounds like a broken record, but the cancer & the chemo just wears me down. To scan, I need my daughter's help & with her being a college senior, she's pretty busy.

Announcement

Hey, guys. As a lot of you know, I'm battling cancer. To support me, Dennis Mallonee at Heroic Comics is putting out an all me comic. He's running a kickstarter & I'd appreciate you checking it out. If you can't contribute, that's cool, but please pass the word to friends, enemies, space aliens, whoever might be interested. Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroicpublishing/j-adam-walters-big-book-of-pin...

Some Fun

It's been a rough chemo sessions these last 6 weeks, so I haven't done too much new art, but here's a couple of art re-works I've done. Hope you like 'em.

Some Stuff in the Pipeline

Commission in progress

I'm working on some commissions where I didn't like the first version & did a second. The girl dressing, the good version has no text. I didn't like the text on the first & her shirt obscured too much of her figure. The Nightshade piece just didn't please me. The 2nd, in both pencils & inks looks much better.

Next Christmas

I don't think it's a surprise that I love Christmas. In fact, I'm working on some Christmas pieces even now. Of course, they won't be for sale till next December. Let me know what you think.

This Weeks Posts

These'll be listed tomorrow. Thought you guys would like a sneak peek.

Andrea Progression

These are 4 images of the same piece I recently did. Just thought you guys might like to see the process.

New Stuff

Sorry for being out of touch the last few weeks. I've had a bit of "creator's block". Fortunately, over the years, I've learned the signs & how to deal. When I feel it happening, I just back away & read, watch TV, anything non-creative & in 7-10 days I bounce back. I started bouncing back today. Back in the 80s this happened & I tried to push through. The results were not good & it was 6 months before I got creative againAnywa...

Couple'a Things

I stated a new bout of chemo yesterday, so it's gonna be a few days till I get back at art. In the meantime, here're a couple of recaptions I've done. Hope you like 'em.

Today's work (& the weekend's)

New stuff. I may have poster the Andrea piece before. It's been done for months. The rest was done over the weekend. The Nightshade was done this morning.

Much New stuff.

Here's some stuff I just scanned in. Hope you enjoy it. Re Rattle & Bones above: They're two cops who get turned into identical twin 15 year-old girls. They go undercover at various high-schools to look into drugs, violence, possible shootings. I planned to pursue this but found I have so little interest & even less patience with modern teens that I just couldn't do it. Of course, this was because Rattle & Bones were in LA. I'm ha...

5 New pieces (Not Christmas -sob!-)

These are going up on ebay today, along with some pages from Clarissa Edmunds #5. Please check 'em out.

More new Christmas Stuff

This stuff I sold last week. Lots & Lots of Christmas. I've floated the idea with Dennis at Heroic of doing a set of Christmas Cards featuring Heroic characters for next year? Any thoughts? Would any of you be interested in such thing? If not, why not? (That's, ah say, that's a marketing question, son)

Merry Christmas!

The above is my personal Christmas card to all of you. I appreciate your support and friendship.PS: The text for the above is gonna be something like this: Two balloons from off camera characters who were just carolled by Clarissa & Samantha.Old man says: Who was that?Wife says: Those Edmunds girls. Samantha and the short one with the big boobs.Old man says: Oh? Clarissa? Dang! Hate I missed her.Wife: Oh? Don't know the thin blonde, but you s...

Some New Stuff

These are some recent pics from eBay. I'll be posting more this afternoon. As you may have noticed, I LIKE Christmas!

I Don't Know Why I Bother

Just wanted to show you this. Above is the finished piece. Next is the pencilled & inked piece. Next is my attempt to color it with Photoshop. Looks terrible & took twice as long as the marker version. Every so often, I try the Photoshop method & just get more frustrated.

Kickstarter Live!!

The Heroic Kickstarter is live. Dennis started it this morning. The book will feature the entire Heather Reilly story in color. And the color is beautiful. I rarely get good color from someone else, but this is the best I've ever had. Also, there is a 16 page new feature in the back about Missy Evers. Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroicpublishing/heather-reilly-in-colorTell your friends. Or your enemies.. I'm no...

Some New Stuff

Things in progress. I find I'm most creative early in the morning. (My usual getting-up time is apx. 4:00 AM, sometimes as early as 1:30 or 2:00.

Variant Covers

I think I announced that Dennis Mallonee at Heroic Comics is going to be releasing Heather Reilly in color. As pat of that, as well as the planned Kickstarter., here are some varint covers I'll be doing.

Some More New stuff

Guys, if I post the same piee twice, let me know. I lose track.

Some More stuff

Things in the works.

New Stuff

The chemo treatments are easing & I'm able to get more done. These are some recent things. However, all the text on these were written before my Covid stay, just over a year ago.

Clarissa at the Fair

I was deleting some files & thought you guys might like to see a pencil version, followd by the inked one. It's a Clarissa piece for an issue set at the local fair.

New Approach

This is a new approach I'm taking to some of my art, but not all. In this case, he B&W Art is done on 11 x 17" Card Stock. The image area is 10 x 15". When I auction it, the buyer also gets a 8.5 x 11" hand-colored copy & A print-out of the colored copy with text added. The Wonder Woman Here posted is the only exception, as I wanted the text on the original in this case. Extra points to anyone who knows where this image fit in the...
