Dark Samus sketch

I decided to work on a black canvas for obvious reasons :)

Dark Lancer (2017)

It's been around 4 years since I've drawn this character. I originally created her back when I realized I was drawing too many white people. I also wanted a "cheesecake" character that I could draw for fun as Tomoe's design was getting out of hand...A NSFW version is also available at the $10 tier right here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/13215455

Dark Lancer lineart & flats

I combined 2 concepts from older DL drawings into one for this background: the lake and the snake monster. I also forgot that I decided to make her an elf a while back so that's been fixed. :D

Dark Lancer sketch

Working on the NSFW pinup while waiting on the Samus poll. I hope the "dark" part doesn't confuse anyone :D. There will be a safe-for-work version as well so I'm sending this one out to everyone. :)(Muscle tone wont be quite as noticeable)

My Influence Map

I've always wanted to make one of these things, but didn't want to take the time. Now I've finally done it! I had to make some tough choices like dropping off Lego and the Simpsons, but they don't really have an impact on my art today. (joke about building blocks withheld for brevity)Disney and Kirby Superstar were originally going to be bigger as they were a huge part of what got me started. Eventually I got way into collecting a...

Character Vote: Metroid Prime 2!

While it's honestly my least favorite of the trilogy, you can't deny it has some of the coolest suits. Which of these suits/alien merged with a suit should I draw?

Nami

Nami in her current (as of this typing) outfit. :)

Ryuko

One of my favorite characters from one of my favorite animes. Directly inspired by one of her finishing scenes.

Ryuko Lineart & flat colors

Cool kids draw their kanji freehand.

Ryuko sketch

So the poll ended up in a tie, but most people on deviantart wanted Ryuko so I decided to let them break it!

Carrot

Carrot from One Piece. She's like a female rabbit version of Luffy. Also electrical powers for some reason.

Sketch commission: Swimsuit Ariane

sketch commission!

Sketch Commission: Supergirl

Character Poll: Kill la Kill

My hero, Imaishi Hiroyuki, is working on TWO new animes for next year. Let's draw some Kill la Kill in the meantime.

Blaze Idle Animation

Complete! The idle is the most important character animation (as far as I'm concerned.) It defines the look of course, but also the starting point for all other animations, as well as their personality.

Blaze idle (lineart)

Making a little more sense now that there's some fire in there. You might notice that I cut down on some line detail in the forearms, abs and chest area. This is both to make animating easier and reduce visual density.

Blaze idle

I've been thinking about animating Blaze's idle for a couple weeks now, but it's so ridiculously difficult to stay motivated on animations with the current state of Rudra's development. However I finally managed to start, so here's some progress:I created the main frame to finalize all of the characters' designs at some point last year. The idea was to create a stance that works with all of his planned attacks. Originally ...

Baiken Profile

After having fun with the Young Samus drawing, I just had to draw Baiken again in a similar style.

New sketch commission tier available!

So I've gone and made the colored sketch commission tier. It's $50 and includes everything from the previous tiers (vote, process, HD, risque, and psds). There are only 3 slots right now but I may increase it to 5 if the demand is there. You'll get 1 colored sketch per month in the style of recent drawings like Samus (armored) and Riena. Let me know if you have any questions! :D

Knuckles

climbin' a mountain, gettin those emerals.

Knuckles sketch

Dude has no fingers, but climbs like a champ.Listening to "Speeding Towards Adventures" while working on this. Check out the album for yet another sweet OCR Sonic album: http://sonic25.ocremix.org/

Riena

Colored sketch commission :D

Young (Academy) Samus

When you're having a rough week, there's only one thing to do: Draw Samus. One of the few good things to come out of "Other M." I always felt like this hairstyle would make more sense inside of a helmet but I think people would lose their shit if they got rid of that ponytail. This was originally going to be another quick sketch but I decided to just keep going and eventually ended up with this more realistic style. I used to draw t...

Considering a sketch commission tier...

I've been thinking about making a new tier for the patreon over the past couple weeks after experimenting with colored sketches. For $50, you'd get a bust shot (stomach up) sketch similar to this one:https://www.patreon.com/posts/emergency-samus-11741279I'd need to fill 3-5 slots to make this work. If you're interested or have any questions, send me a message. I'll make sure those that message me first get a spot.Commissions a...

You guys...

So we're all tied up on the Sonic poll. I'm tellin ya right now I'm only drawing one, so if it's a 3-way tie...I'm just drawing Bubsy!**might be a lie

Character VOTE: Sonic Friends!

Sonic's 3 least annoying friends...Actually Blaze is probably the least annoying...but she's not an option! Maybe next time.

Back to back

trying more of this sketch style. Have been working with references too much lately and challenged myself to not look at anything or use any fancy filters on this one.(Zetch and Tomoe in case you're new here)

Fire Emblem Yuri preview (NSFW)

This month's yuri piece is now available for the $10 tier and up. Since this one does not have a SFW version, I've attached a somewhat censored version to this post if you'd like to check it out.The uncensored HD post can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fire-emblem-yuri-11843624

Mario

Another quickish one. Mario and Cappy (though he just looks like a regular hat in this shot).

Social medias update

Hey! I'm always surprised when people ask me if I'm on instagram or twitter. So here's a little update with some links if you'd like to check out some stuff that doesn't always appear here on the patreon:http://hybridmink.tumblr.com/https://www.instagram.com/hybridmink/https://twitter.com/hybridminkhttp://hybridmink.deviantart.com/https://www.artstation.com/artist/hybridminkhttps://www.redbubble.com/people/hybridmink/shop?asc=...
