Jackanapes V Page 2

Gotta get Rosie and Japes alone. And again, for this comic, I’m looking for more than just setups for the sex scenes. Character development, crackin‘ dialogue, and humor are just as much a priority for me as the art and sex, even though I understand that sentiment may not be widely shared.

Rosie Animation .MP4

The title says it all. To me, the .mp4 is a notable improvement in resolution over even the high-quality .gifLink below under attachments. All I gotta say— that’s a lot of work for a 3-second clip. Hopefully, it’ll get faster as I perfect my workflow.

Rosie Animation #1

Here ya go— my very first animation for this Patreon! This is Rosie, whom you hopefully recognize from Jackanapes. And if you don’t recognize her, then whaddya waiting for— read Jackanapes! The link is to the left of the screen.I put a lot of work into this, so although I’m sure I’ll improve (practice makes perfect, after all), I’d love to know what you think of this inaugural effort. Please comment below!

Animation Is Hard, Part 3/2000

And here I thought painting would be the easy part? Unfortunately, I can’t use my usual painting-in-layers workflow with Procreate painting, so it’s taking me a long time to actually figure out how to paint this thing. I think I’ve got it now, but woo boy is this tedious work. Ink and paint departments at old-fashioned animation studios had to be the Worst Places to Work...

First Animation Line Work

Ok, this is the final line-work for the first animation I’ve done in decades, so it’s a little rusty, but I think pretty decent. I hopefully will only get better as we go along. While it’s technically a work-in-progress, this is the only animation that non-Patreon supporters will get to see (as a way to show what I’m doing); so if they get to see it, you do, too.I’m currently working on cel-shading the colored version, and while it’s ...

Animation Is Hard, Part 2/2000

The hardest part? Fuckin’ hair, man. Next time I gotta pick a simpler hairstyle...Had a hard time getting the timing right, too, but it’s finally (mostly) like I pictured in my head. Next, clothes (partial). Then I’ll be ready to share with everyone.I love feedback (hint, hint)

Animation Is Hard, Part 1/2000

Here’s a very rough work in progress of the very first Japes animation! This is the first animation I’ve done in almost 30 years, (since 5 seconds of Darkwing Duck done on Disney Animation Studio on a pre-Pentium-era PC) and it turns out, I need to relearn a few things!Really, the only parts I’ve animated here are her face and hands. I’m mostly happy with the facial animation, except I think I need to smooth out her eyebrow movement a bit...

Jackanapes V Page 1

Tryin’, with some success I think, to step up my coloring and lighting game for Jackanapes. Looking back at the first pages of Jackanapes #1, I can see a huge difference. Anyway... some humor for now, but plenty o’ Rosie coming up— I’m talking multimedia!

You Won’t Be Needing THIS Anymore...

Jasmine, a final wish for a highest-tier supporter.

The Great Outdoors

Beautiful Illyria. Scene from the next page of Jackanapes. Hope you guys can see the improvement from the first few pages to now...

You Won’t Be Needing This Anymore (With Process Video)

Jasmine, for a highest tier supporter. Still have a few leftovers from the old model to post, while I’m waiting for the top-tier supporters to choose who I animate first. This one comes with some process videos from the last few drawings.Edit: fixed the hair to be more movie-accurate.

Too Many Tifas!

Is there such a thing?

Tifa-rrific

Tifa won the last fanart poll (by one vote!) and a highest-tier supporter also chose her as his last pinup, so you guys get two competing visions of Tifa Lockhart. Feel free to claim whichever one you like more as the one I did for YOU.

Tifa WIP’s

Tifa won the last fanart poll (by one vote!) and a highest-tier supporter also chose her as his last pinup, so you guys get two competing visions of Tifa Lockhart. Wonder which one you will like more?

Say what you will about Disney Infinity as a video game (good for kids), but all must agree that the figurines were REALLY well-done in a very cool style. This pic is inspired by that style— like if Disney Infinity came out with a series of lewd Overwatch figures. While I have your attention, please take note of the new Patreon description and new rewards for the different tiers! These new rewards will come into effect NEXT MONTH! No surprises...

Final Fan Art Poll Finals!

It’s two RPG video game hotties facing off as Shani from the Witcher goes against Tifa from Final Fantasy. Who will win? Well, in true RPG fashion, you decide! Poll ends when the weekend does, people.

THE FINAL FAN ART POLL!!!

Now that I have your attention, please look to the side at the new Patreon rewards for the different tiers— I’m transitioning to animation in February, so this will indeed be the final fan art poll! And it’s a free-for-all, no categories brawl! This is the last chance these ladies have to win, so if you’ve got a fave, make sure you vote! Make sure your friends vote!Usual rules— top 2 move on to the runoff, unless someone wins an outright...

Mee-Yow

The last poll ended in a 50-50 tie, so I broke the deadlock and chose Catwoman. Really glad I did, as this turned into my fav Catwoman I’ve done.

Jackanapes The Fifth Cover

Trying to decide whether to give Daphne a new hairstyle (since she’s been stripped of crown and supposed to be not as recognizable) or not (because comics). What do you guys think?

Final Fan Art Poll!

This is it— the last fan art contest before I transition to animation! Your last chance to get your favorite character drawn by me, for free! Thus, the theme is open— there is no theme! The only rule is that I will bar any previous poll winners. Please get your nomination into me by Wednesday, January 15, and please post it below in the comments (makes it easier to avoid duplicates)Thank you to all of you for your support so far, and I hope y...

Coming In February— Japes Art and Animation

Major changes next month to THIS Patreon! Read on for an in-depth explanation of what I’m doing with this Patreon and why, or skip to the bottom for a TL;DR.I’ve been doing this Patreon for more than three years now and I am very humbled and grateful for the support I’ve received from all of my supporters, both past and present. Some of you have been here since the beginning, when this was a page to support the creation of my Bombshells boo...
